Yeah, the EA Wii games have been a huge mistake. I remember the first couple of Madden games for the Wii, they had the same style as the other Madden games, just with motion controls and some additional modes. It was a ton of fun to play, my friends and I would spend hours playing 2-on-2. Then this All Play BS came out, different boxes and style, it looked like a kids game and we no longer had any interest in playing them, just keeping to the 360 version. I'm pretty sure the older Wii Madden games sold better than this All Play crap to. I don't know what EA is thinking.
Devs need to look to Pro Evolution Soccer to see how to properly make a Wii sports game, keep the core gameplay and style of the other versions so you don't feel like a little kid while playing it, while making a control scheme that works on the strengths of the controller. Essentially, you have to rebuild the game up for the controls, I suppose it's too much work for some people...
