DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY - THE WAR BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARK BEGINS.

20 Years in the Making, the War between Light and Dark Begins

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ — Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix(R) interactive entertainment products in North America, announced that DISSIDIA(TM) FINAL FANTASY(R) for the PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) system will be available mid-year 2009 in North America.

Celebrating 20 years of the renowned series that has shipped over 85 million units worldwide, DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY brings together the largest collection of FINAL FANTASY characters ever in a fighting-styled game where players can choose their allegiance between good and evil.

STORY

Cosmos, the goddess of harmony. Chaos, the god of discord. Reigning from distant realms, the two gods had gathered warriors from all lands to lead them in savage war.

Cosmos and Chaos were of equal strength. It was believed the conflict would last forever. However, the balance is now broken.

Those who answered Chaos's call created an inexhaustible force. And under vicious attack without relent, the warriors fighting for Cosmos started to fall one by one. The conflict that has continued for eons is now about to end in Chaos's favor.

The world has been torn asunder, sinking into a vortex of disorder. As for the few surviving warriors ... their fates have yet to be determined.

You really have trouble finding a game illegally? it takes 2 seconds to find any game on megaupload or filefactory to direct download.   That is how easy it is to pirate games on the PSP and the only thing stopping you is whatever morals you may have.

I actually do import my games though because I'm a sucker who likes to own physical copies and all that.  If I do plan to import it if it's not too text heavy, I'd do it from NCSX.  It takes them a day to ship a game to my house.

Pretty text heavy from what I'm hearing. Hold off and I'll tell you if the English sheet in the Asian version helps any.

Thank God I can read hiragana and katakana. Too bad my kanji skills are horrible.

Think you can go against a level 45 Cloud Strife? Coz you're going to have to go through him to get yourself a new Snowboard accessory.

The Snowboard is the first unlockable accessory that's unlockable by a password. Magazines
will be revealing more over time. This one was revealed by V Jump today.

To get the Snowboard, you'll need to edit your Friend Card message to the following password: "PASS3CH3GC45." It has to be in all caps, using the hankaku character set, the fourth character set in pressing select. This would be the second English alphabet set, mind you.

Once done, you'll unlock Yuffie's special Friend Card in your Offline Lobby. This'll initiate a fight with the ghost
data of Level 45 Cloud. Just beat the crap out of him, and you'll win yourself that new Snowboard.

WOW!

you still haven't gotten your copy? you're missing out brah, I'm sorry but :pirate rule.

By the way, how useful is the english booklet or whatever that you wanted the asian copy for?

No idea, I don't have it yet!

That's not the main reason why I got the Asian version. The main reason is that it was $10 less.

Dissidia is pretty awesome. It's super addictive. I'm trying to hold off from playing too much now because I'd rather spend time on the English version but it's great. The character models are particularly impressive.

I've played four matches and lost them all. I understand how you're supposed to win, but I keep getting killed.

I did some quick battles yesterday while waiting to pick up my wife from her MBA class. I didn't mess with any of the difficulty settings, which might explain why I got my ass handed to me.
