0-16 : The quest for infamy
« on: December 28, 2008, 11:50:49 AM »
This is it guys  :D

Today is the day!! We are one game away from witnessing history. We had a 16-0 team last year and we could have had a 0-16 team but it wasn't meant to be.  :(

The Detroit Lions can become the worst team in NFL history!! What an achievement. I think it would be terrible if they won today. Why would you settle for second place on the worst teams ever. I would go for the number one spot!!  8)

Come on Detroit!! All you have to do is lose to Green Bay.

hoping the Lions achieve something results in failure, ie loss.

the game will result in a tie

Most people around here expect a loss and have turned this into a holiday. Green Baby has little to play for, and while they certainly won't come out half asses I kinda expect them to be surprised. Mixing both exceptions together results in a tie

Ha, if they tied they truly would be the ultimate failure. Not only could they not win a game, but they couldn't even complete a perfect losing season.

Too bad I have to watch the Giants and Minnesota, who cares about this game?

At least they won't lose at home.  I could only imagine if they were to lose their final at home.  The field would be probably be littered with empty coke cups and such.

Detroit is so dumb if they want to win this game.

Everyone will remember the first team to go 0-16. No one will remember a shitty-ass team that went 1-15

He doesn't,  but he had kept it for 8 years before being fired. Old man Ford is the family fuck up, and the Lions are his playground. He does what he wants and is more concerned with parading yes men than winning ball games. Marineli will probably be back next year
