Seriously, fuck Steam sales

I don't know what to get. i already own Civ4, CoH, Audiosurf, and Team Fortress 2. I'm downloading the demo for Trials 2 and I downloaded Peggle Extreme to see if I'll like it. Any big differences between Extreme and Deluxe? Any other recommendations?

beezy: peggle deluxe has a lot of more levels, and different characters and powers. extreme is like a demo with a half-life 2 skin

World in Conflict is pretty freaking sweet online. I just played 4 rounds of it with a full game. The first two times I tried infantry and totally sucked balls but I went armor the second two times and rawked.

Edit: From talking to one of the developers of Defense Grid on SomethingAwful, multiplayer is coming in a patch later on. I can't WAIT for that.

X3 is insane, I wish I could make a more informed impression of the game before the sale ended but it's just sort of impossible given how big the game is.

I noted on the forums that it looks like someone has developed an in-game ERP system  via the scripting interfaces to manage the player's supply chain.  That's so insane.

I've thought about buying it, but I think, from experience, I'm more a Spaceward Ho! kinda 4X gamer than a Space Empires one, and X3 probably isn't my thing.

I bought X3: The Reunion when it came out but I couldn't get into it at all so I'm going to wait until X3: Terran Conflict drops way down in price.

I like playing Hinterland in short bursts, actually. Either way though, it's a rad game.

just played a short game, only scored like 858 but it was still brilliant once i worked out what i was doing. might set up a long game later tonight, i was just getting into it when it ended

Try and beat that score I sent you. I finished a game on Long and got like 13485.
