the controls are different -- you tap a face button to spray, hold to concentrate fire -- but they work fine. the game is fucking AMAZING techwise. it shits all over the wii.

I just tried out Everyday Shooter on PSP and I like it much more than ssd psp because the gameplay is a bit slower and easier.

I haven't bought either yet, but I would think Everyday Shooter would play better on the PSP since even on the PS3 it is 8-way shooting instead of full analog like SSDHD or Geo Wars

Man, this game is a blast. Props to HouseMarque. I doubted that the Super Stardust experience would translate well without the dual analog controls.

Had an uneventful day at work yesterday so I put a bit of time into SSP and managed to eclipse my previous score in the Arcade mode. I made it all the way to 2-5 in Elite mode before having my ass handed to me.
