Recently I made my wife cash out of a shitty bank stock that she was given when she was only a child with the idea of putting the proceeds into an S&P 500 indexed fund and/or possibly some light sweet crude oil or futures or something. Does anyone have any experience with online investment accounts? I am really looking for something that I can passively manage (i.e. possibly move a few times a year, but not actively trade).
