Supported a local used game store. Bought Viewtiful Joe 1, Crazy Taxi, Prime 2 ( it was cheap) and a gc memory card. I don't remember disliking the gc controller like I do now.

Bought some recycling bins because I live really close to a recycling pickup point. I made alot of money this month. I want to splurge but I only have 200 in savings and just want to transfer the surplus 400 dollars there.

wooo. a non-profit was having a sale, 5 books for $1 and i snagged 55 random old sci-fi pulp crime and 60s satire books for $11.

I'll go into them a bit later.

It's nothing life threatening or anything, but thanks for the concern. Em has always had jaw problems, and it's time for some good ol' TMJ surgery. She woke up the other morning and could barely open her mouth without falling over in pain. Insurance will pick up most of it, but we still have a pay a bit.

And, I've come to the realization that I buy way more stuff than I will ever play/watch, so I'm doing my part for 2G2D.

I ain't selling shit! But yes, the jaw part is very important. She's an eager little beaver when it comes to that. No gag reflex, swallows, etc.

We don't need money or anything, I just had a realization that I'm buying stuff, sticking it on a shelf and not doing anything with it. I'm still going to buy games and movies and music, but not at the rate I was in the past. We're also buying a car soon, so putting down $10k at once and then adding another monthly payment doesn't help.

Let me know how the surgery goes. There's a strong possibility that I will be getting jaw surgery. My jaw never healed correctly after my car crash and sometimes it "locks" in place. And because of it, I have a very inconsistent bite that changes a lot and freaks out my dentists.

Will do. She grinds her teeth hard at night and her jaw pops constantly while she sleeps. She's had a bite guard for years now, but it's starting to break apart from her grinding.

I also spent $800 on random shit in December. I felt really bad about it.

what sort of surgery will they have to do for teeth grinding + jaw popping? A friend of mine had jaw realignment surgery and it took YEARS to fully heal. I hope hope hope your wife does not have to go through that.

In more positive (lol) news, I finally bought a 360 today and have now officially joined the next generation. Looking back I can't believe I waited this fucking long to get one. Owning a PS3 & Wii is like starving - there's just so few good games (or games that aren't gimped in the case of the ps3), and as much as I love games it's been hard having to sit there and watch so many awesome releases pass me by. NEVER AGAIN. I got the arcade with some $30 off deal I saw at CAG, and I'll pick up a hard drive in a little while.
