no. i cook a lot of indian dishes and use indian spices a lot. i have a fuckton of indian spices at home. i don't smell like indian food because of that. you'd have to eat it every day and hang out somewhere were indian food is cooked all day to smell like it.

this is reassuring.  i'll just keep my kitchen fan on when cooking, as it is becoming almost a daily thing.

how so? paprika and cumin are both commonly used spices in mexican cuisine. pretty much every taco seasoning and every chili have both paprika and cumin in it. obviously cumin is also an important spice in indian food. and paprika has become quite popular in the eastern world too, especially in thailand. there's a ton of curry powders and asian spice mixes with both paprika and cumin in it... they're a great and very popular combo!
