I thought it was pretty decent. The demo for the first stage is pretty straight forward and simple. That one doesn't quite force you to use your satellites. From the second stage on it become more like a puzzle game, similar to Ikaruga. It really starts to push you to use your ships strategically. Also the different skins for your ships and enemies that you unlock are kinda cool.

I think it's worth the $5 if you're looking for something different in your shmups.

I got Pac-Man CE yesterday finally, for $5. My CC didn't work, but I worked a trade with a friend, who then sent the code directly with Amazon's own "gift" function.

Still hoping my stateside address debit card will be usable as a regular credit card.

Just make sure it's an actual NETWORKED unit before pouring your coinage in - the older, non-networked ones don't offer the gift cards.
