Yeah, it's been confirmed a few months ago, but no firm release date has been set...

Love the music in this game, I'm not too big on jazz but it was very different, as far as video game soundtracks go.

As horrible as the official MvC2 soundtrack is, some of the custom soundtracks I've spent a regrettable amount of time putting up with are soooooooo much fucking worse, so I guess Capcom deserves at least one backhanded compliment: at least it wasn't fucking nu-metal.

I dont really like the multiplayer focused achievements but I guess that is unavoidable with these types of games. Is the 100 / 200 combos difficult? Hope it doesnt require too much. Consider me on board for this though, I love this game because it's perfect for people who suck dick at fighters like me.

100 combos in MvC2 is easy.

Use cable, bb hood, do a super

the main problem being that in mvc2 you have to unlock characters. It's been years since I unlocked all the characters in MvC2, but I don't know if Cable or BB Hood are unlocked from the start or not.

I wonder if the "Perform 50 One Character Victories within 20 unique teams" means that you need to use all different characters for it to be considered a unique team. Otherwise you could just pick Cable (or whomever you're best with, but if you kinda suck, it will be easiest with Cable), Captain Commando or Dr. Doom (or someone else with an excellent assist), and choose a random third person from the roster each time and do this fairly easily.

I use Cable, Sentinel and Tronn (her projectile assist is godly). I'm garbage at the game, though.

Capcom has been doing a pretty good job reviving dormant IPs. A Strider remake in the same vein as Bionic Commando: Rearmed would be awesome.

I hope this is also the start of a downloadable fighter trend. Would love to see Project Justice and Tech Romancer given the online play/1080p upscale treatment.

Yup, but yet it still has a hardcore community and is played in plenty of tournaments. People basically just play the game using the same few characters and ignore everyone else.

That's high-level play though. It's still fun enough to play that I'll be getting this for sure, but it's not getting me off of SF4 for very long. Wouldn't expect much from ranked battles unless you wanna use the likes of Sentinel, Magneto, Storm, etc. however!

I used a lot of people, but typically had Juggernaut in my teams. Last time I played at the arcade, I had Cable, Magneto, and Sentinel, and beat the shit out of the other couple of guys playing with ease. It was sad!

-Spawn In The Demon's Hand (balance out the characters and this game would rock so much online)

They definitely need to port 3rd Strike (although NOT from the DC code, lol) and CvS2 up.

It would be a bigger deal if the demo was online. With just offline multiplayer-only, it will be fun to mess with and see what it looks like, then ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz. Just play the DC version until then.
