listening a lot to James Blake's album lately. I know it's the new hot thing (shoutouts to p4k), but I really like it.

Also been going back to Portishead's second album and UNKLE's War Stories, which are both AMAZING. People apparently think less of War Stories in comparison to the rest of UNKLE's catalog, but I think it's pretty damn good. Maybe my friends are just poopy-heads though.

Fucking perfect. The reverb, the backing vocals, arrangement and of course the main vocals.

Researching Quadron a bit, they're a Danish group. Vocals are from a singer named Coco Maja Hastrup Karshøj and produced by Robin Hannibal. They consider themselves "Electric Soul" and damn its spot on. I'm in love with this group.

2 completely different sounds. The singer for PTH can actually sing which is really hard to find in a prog/experimental metal band. The new album is pretty good, I'll have to go back and listen to their older stuff.

I've tried to get in to them, and just like Rise Against, it just doesn't stick. I can see why people like them, but they either don't do anything interesting enough for me to like them or don't have good enough hooks.

I gave the newer Filter album another shot and started to really like it. Especially this song.

Yeah, there is A LOT of MGMT in the track you posted. The one I found is almost like Fountains of Wayne or like Grandaddy.

I just got so bored of anything that is chiptune that isn't DNTEL (which I'm in love with).
