We’ve received a tip off about casting for a possible Uncharted movie and it sounds…reasonable.

Our anonymous tipster has informed us that Matthew McConaughey is being lined up as the star of a movie based on the Uncharted franchise. Now obviously, we aren’t a movies site but an Uncharted movie is definitely of interest to us.

It seems a little bit of a long shot, but after perusing IMDB, I can definitely see how the Wedding Planner actor could fit the role of Nathan Drake. Our tipster couldn’t give us any more information, but the game definitely has the feel of a movie and I wouldn’t be surprised if this was true.

We’ve contacted Naughty Dog about this rumor, but are yet to recieve comment. Hopefully they’ll respond soon.

Looking at IMDB, he was Producer (or Executive Producer) for Punisher: Warzone. Dudes got "the" eye.

Arad used to work for Marvel and founded Marvel Studios. He's done a lot of damage to the brand.

Uncharted 2 multiplayer is hot, if for no other reason because it's exposing certain fanboys as a bunch of bitter conservatives with no real faith in their supposedly beloved developers. Generally, I think it's potentially awesome news. Any game could use a dedicated co-op mode, and competitive multiplayer in a game with cover based shooting and platforming should be hot.

I wonder if the multiplayer will be as good as Dark Sector. And a demo with infamous? Do you have to play the game for a set number of hours before the demo unlocks?

Yeah I saw that, and I wondered if it was a new meme or something. Still, it beats that damned Uncharted thread. I'm nowhere near the Naughty Dog fan that these people claim to be, yet because I have some faith in the company, I'm in the minority. And then some dude accused me of trying to drag politics into it by using the term "conservative."

National Treasure is the only one that managed to be fun in some way or another. An Uncharted movie would be welcomed, by me. Well, if they get a good cast, i don't think Mc over there would be the best choice imo.

has multiplayer in Bioshock 2 been confirmed, at least in the traditional style? I just watched a video on Mafia 2 and the guy from 2K said that games like Mafia 2 and Bioshock 2 don't need multiplayer and bastards who say they do are ignored by them.

anyway, why not multiplayer in Uncharted 2? the first game was 90+% a shooter, remove that 10% easy platforming and it's basically light-weight Gears, which had great multiplayer.

Honestly, I'd rather see a multiplayer mode that preserves the platforming bit. I can't recall a whole lot of games that allowed me to shoot while swinging from a rope, or that had me focusing on cliff walls for opponents doing just that. I don't know, it sounds like it could be hot.

yeah, i saw this but i just translated it as the white flag of defeat to be quite honest.

That's what it looked like to me, but it seemed so organized. Then again, is there anything that these guys do that doesn't feel organized? Just noticed that kittonwy "blessed" Uncharted 2, which was followed by acknowledgments and slight nausea for me.
