Sydney, 06 May 2009 – Sony Computer Entertainment Australia (SCE Australia) today announced a joint venture with Sydney-based distributor, Home Entertainment Suppliers Pty Ltd (HES), to bring the two biggest Australian footy sporting codes, AFL and NRL, exclusively to PSP™ (PlayStation® Portable). Both AFL Challenge and Rugby League Challenge are officially licensed, true to life sports simulation games, developed locally by Melbourne-based company, Wicked Witch Software.
Perfectly timed for release mid-season in July, these two titles are set to be a firm favourite with the army of footy fans who will be able to recreate the on-field action and excitement on the go with their PSP. Featuring all of the leagues players recreated, every team will be faithfully represented from both codes in the two exclusive titles.
