uh, kids in the hall?
canadians are awesome, don't judge our humour by the distinguished mentally-challenged fellows we ship to the US. we ship them there so as to get them the fuck out of canada. enjoy mike myers, suckers.
And John Candy. Man, he may have been a nice guy, but he wasn't funny. And Martin Short. Thanks a LOT for sending us your crap!
even after all these years the first splinter cell is so fucking hard for me
Yeah, I remember finishing the tutorial for that game, feeling pretty spiffy, then going into the first mission, trying to navigate a flaming hallway within the first 5 minutes. Trying to traverse z-depth obstacles on a 2D screen is an Achilles heel of mine. I bumped into one of the flames, and suddenly Sam was on fire. Apparently his high tech gear is all
made from compressed gasoline gel. I realized I'd never be able to finish a game which
started at that difficulty. Never picked it up again.
GTA3 is still my favorite GTA even after all these years.
Getting level 12 ambulance is still a bitch as ever. I got to level 7 on paramedics and ended up accidentally toppling my ambulance FUUUU
SA is so easy in comparison. I did like 40 taxi fares in a row with no challenge, I have to use strategy and fast leg it to do even 20 in III.

Yeah, absolutely so. In GTA3, I got to the point an Ambulance where I could tell where the patients were waiting by watching the relative amount of movement of the pip on the radar. Even so, I've gotten to 11 but never cleared 12. Between the fragility of the ambulance and its top-heaviness, balancing the need for haste against those; it's like magic.
In contrast, getting San Andreas' Vigilante to level 12 was the sweet R3 mission in that game. I was even loading up garages with cop bikes so I could hoof it to a safe house and grab a fresh bike when needed. So many times I'd got an hour or more into the mission, only to suddenly run out of time or not have a police vehicle nearby. Good times. When I finally cleared it, I think I probably jumped around like a total spaz.
