played some Assassin's Creed: Revelations this weekend. Firstly the game forces all menus and HUD elements to be in machine-translated Norwegian which is butt. interact is basically translated as cooperate and target (for assassination) is goal (0/9 goals killed) and so on and so forth. The game is also butt in general, I have only done one part were I was sneaky in a tomb looking for a thing, but I have climbed a rope after an amok horse and carriage, did some burnout style crashing with said horse and carriage, and then there was some tower defense later.

Where is Thi4f? Can't deal with this.

I'd buy HMH XBLA for myself and my favorite peeps in a heart beat if it ever comes to Steam. Loved the first. I've already bought the XBLA, but I don't have an Xbox to play it on, and it's too late in the cycle to buy a new one.

More Japanese games should come to Steam period, especially quality legacy titles. The polish and quality of some these ports is nothing short of a revelation to me. It feels like *this* is how they're meant to be played, no jank whatsoever*. Going back to the PSP/Vita for Ys7 and TitS now is going to be hard.

*(Well in the case of Falcom's titles, technically it was from the very beginning)

The Ys games like Felghana aren't ports, they're full on remakes. But yes, more Japanese games should come to steam. Dynasty Warriors 7 + XL are in the registry. Hopefully more come. It'd be great if S-E got on board, but now they've got the Square Enix Shop

Just got that pinball game on ps3/vita. Really addicting. Thought I bought it for short play sessions in between other shit, but ended up playing for hours straight.

Giving up on gundam musou 3, don't care about that trophy enough

Just got to the fire area in Ys Origin, my first time playing the game. It's really good, very lean and some nice dungeon layouts. Love the water area music!

I'm only 2 areas ahead of you. Judging by how far I'm up the tower I'll say the campaign has the perfect length, especially for a game with 3 playable characters. I still think boss battles are better designed in this game, the difficulty don't spike as much as it did it in Felghana and the patterns are more pronounced and manageable.

Just wait until you get to Obelisk. They starting throwing tons of mystery blocks at you toward the end of the stage, and everything turns into a random, luck-based clusterfuck. It's by far the worst part of the game.

(Rapunzel is pretty bad too, but at least it's just a minigame)

I think the game is way too difficult when you start out. After just playing through the story just watching videos, I got comfortable enough and memorized enough pattersn to try and play it myself. Nope, still extremely difficult. You can pretty much watch videos for the entire game except Babel mode, since it randomizes shit each time.

I concede it isn't for everyone. It just really pushed the right buttons for me because the core mechanics are pretty unique. I've never played a game quite like Catherine, and playing it was really refreshing. It reminded me of the first time I played Katamari Damacy.

I thought it's one of those stories that branches off depending on your choices. Or was that the oversold part? I remember stories about how choosing to answer your cellphone or not would affect something later on.

I bailed on it about half way through for that reason. My gaming OCD forces me to do absolutely everything as I go through an area and I'm sure it exasperated the repetitiveness quite a bit, but I think it's still a bit tiring either way.

No, it's the same results regardless of your choices. The game ends the same way, but the ending is different based on your Karma Meter and the last 3 questions you're asked in the final levels.

one of my favorite horror games. i tried to play the add-on the other day, and it throws you straight into the deep end with the scary-ass monsters. i forgot how bad this game can fuck with you

one of those games where my brain is trying to figure out the videogame logic (what rules does the a.i. follow to detect me? how long before enemies stop searching for me?) but i was always to scared and ended up running and cowering over and over. the tension in the game is BRUTAL

I gave up on Babel mode. Shit is distinguished mentally-challenged difficult and I don't have a partner for Pairs. I tried with 2 controllers but that wasn't going to work at all. This means Axis Mundi is impossible since it is confirmed impossible to do Single.

Fuck I'm pissed I won't get 1000 on this. Wasted enough time skipping shit for the endings.
