I was reading on GameFAQs and you can use a "no encounters" code, disable it, then fight one fight and you will gain up to 5 levels, since EXP scales.

The end of Persona 4 is actually in sight now. If I don't finish up by Friday, I've really dropped the ball.

It's on the Japanese PSN.  You could always get a J-PSN card and get it that way.

I need to rip JF!1 and JF!2 to my PSP.  Got Ghost In The Shell on there now; was happy as hell to find out that it finally WORKS now!

In the last few days, I finished Ghostbusters, Prince of Persia (2008) and Bionic Commando (2009). Time to finish Dead Space from the Fall and then move on to something new.

I been playing fucking Earthbound, almost done I think. Up to the 'Starman Deluxe'. I might wear my 'Sharks' t-shirt to work tomorrow (even though its 5 degrees out)

Also just rocking out on Magic XBLA. I really need to get back into Mercs 2 during the weekend...

BLAZIN BLAZED UP BLAZBLUE and KOF '98 Ultimate Match on XBLA.  '98's net code is a bit better than Garou's, but it's still filled with laggy matches.  It's disappointing and it's going to be VERY bad for SNK if KOF XII's online play is as bad as their XBLA titles.

Naw, girlfriend -- you want to get busy BEFORE this weekend if you are planning to pick up those co-op 'cheevs. No airstrikes in your pantry, you will be unhappy.  ;)

I'm really enjoying Red Faction so much that I'm going to put it aside just long enough to play HULK to completion. That pukey little crap game is just sitting there, taunting me to finish it. The building destruction is going to be painfully crap on the heels of RFG, but I just need to sac up and soldier through it. RFG's going to take some time, and I won't even want to /look/ at HULK after playing all the way through RFG.

I added you on PSN, but you haven't logged in yet. I'll be playing this weekend if you want to get in some matches together

Anyways, i've been playing KZ2 and Ratchet on PS3. KZ now has tolerable controls and the game is actually quite enjoyable. The dialogue is seriously the worst in any game that I can recall, which is really bad since I've played alot of JRPGs. The mutliplayer is a blast, but you are completely at the mercy of the latency Gods. I've noticed up to 2 seconds of lag between the time I record a kill and the sound of the kill beep, which of course results in lots of simultaneous kills. It cheapens the experience knowing that the lag is effecting the results of the game that much.

Ratchet is good fun, but the sixaxis sections are terrible. The motion sensor just does not record the movements accurately enough for some of the minigames. The weapons are an improvement on Deadlocked, but they feel uninspired compared to UYA and GC. Also, it has frozen on me several times, but it immediately unfreezes when I eject the disc. Annoying. Overall, it feels extremely unpolished for a Ratchet game

Vanguard - FanFaire stuff was awesome. Epics looked incredibly cooooool (and the raid versions sound even better). So I'm grinding exp on my Paladin.
EQ - Playing on Mayong, the 51/50 server. Messing around with a bunch of level 51s but I may settle on Druid.
EQII - Just chatting with guild and filling in some old quests. No rush to 80 right now since Odus isn't out until February.

Because I only play each one for a little bit between school work. Like one day I'll login to Vanguard for a while, but then not touch it for a few days. Hell with EQII I only login to check my broker sales and that's it.

I don't have time for long raids, etc. And EQ and Vanguard you can solo in dungeons without needing a group.

Section 8 beta.  Can't say much I guess because it's closed beta, but it's like Battlefield and Tribes and Medal of Honor Airborne and Red Faction Guerrilla and the Killzone 2 style multiplayer where objectives appear change during the same game and awesome.  You spawn by getting launched from space and choose where to land (watch for AA and things).  And you have a jetpack.

it's easy to get in since all you need is a free fileplanet account

there might be, I don't know.  the one I'm in is PC.

I didn't find it that fun. Though there's a really nice glitch where you land then it puts you back at the top of the map so you can glide down and rain hell on dumbasses.

yeah, but didn't you buy Prototype over Red Faction Guerrilla? Poor performance, indeed.

Put aside Last Crusade for Fate of Atlantis and finished it a couple of days ago. There were a couple of times where the game stumped me and one small glitch involving a non-panning screen that irritated me. When I looked up the solutions I found out that game has multiple paths you can take. Wish more LucasArts adventure games did this.

What I'm playing:

I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream- Little more than halfway through and am really enjoying it. The game does somewhat of a good job making you aware of when you screw up, but there have been some dead ends that I unknowingly ran into that have forced me to restart from that last elligable save.

Day of the Tentacle- It's been almost a decade and a half since I've last played this so a lot of this game has been wiped from memory. It'll be like playing it for the first time again!

Rise of the Dragon PC- Owned this on the Sega Cd for a long time but never gave it a good play through.

Zelda: Oracle of Ages- Needed something action/adventury to balance out these other games, and the Oracle games are the the only 2d Zeldas I haven't finished. Currently just finished the second dungeon and got my feather item. Love the use of the classic NES Zelda theme when you go into the past.

Also trying to balance out my time between all these freaking fighters.

Game gets shit on (rightfully so, for the shitty characters and scenario) but the gameplay and dressphere system fucking rock. Definitely need a guide to get the Mascot uniforms.

I wanted to do Bad Company on hard mode, but I'm starting to get annoyed. It's shit easy 95% of the time because you just respawn with all the enemies you killed still dead, like in BioShock. But then there are parts where you have to defend a tank or something against waves of enemies with no checkpoint, and deaths here require you to revert all the way back to the start of the segment.

So I think I'm going to start PGR4 or Just Cause.

Majora's Mask, and I'm growing to loathe the time-based system in the game. I like how the game seems a bit more challenging than your typical Zelda, but I was never a fan of the Zelda-style fetch quests, and the minigames they feature (shooting galleries, horse races, etc), and this game seems to have that in droves. This may very well end up hitting the bottom of my list of Zeldas, along with PH and WW, if things don't improve.

I always just use Archers, Knights, Monks, Chemists, and a Black Mage and White Mage. Just play like normal until you start getting set characters like Agrias and Cid who have the sweet unique moves. It's still an enjoyable game, very replayable.

Chemist + Gun = pwnzzzzzzz

Just don't play FFTA2 though, omg it's so bad... the first one is ok though.

I beat the first one when it came out (2 years ago?). Then I decided I'll play the OG PSX one. FFTA2 maybe in the future. I'm stuck on GameCube's Fire Emblem BTW :(

Try out Tactics Ogre too. Its cool in a "feels more focused" way.
