Icewind DaleAh, good old Infinity Engine. Even such simple things as clicking buttons triggers a bit of nostalgia. The sound and the little gauntlet curser and - everything. Rolling your characters stats, as asinine as the process is, is fun too. It wouldn't be the same if they just gave you max stats, I want to earn them. Byyy clicking re-roll hundreds of times! I still kind of hate D&D rules though. Level 1 characters are so fucking useless, they get killed by goblins. And I have to go through a whole save-scumming spiel to indentify items in the field because of the whole spell memorization thing.

The animation is great, but puzzles are a bit trial and error so far, doesn't look like that will ever change, but it's fun enough to keep going. And I got interested in the mystery, despite that fact that it's going to be stupid, no matter what.
