MS has voice and color recognition and tracks subtle gestures, everyone who has actually used it (developers) says it works very well, according to everything i've read

also, i guarantee there will be games that use it in tandem with the existing 360 controllers

don't dismiss it just yet

and that's why it's more advanced. Action depth and position in the room isn't possible with the Wii Remote unless you have it pointed at the screen. Since the camera tracking the controller here, it can sense that stuff in any direction.

realistically, I don't think Sony will move this past this concept stuff. They already got shamed by Netal.

I like the idea of an IR pointer, and am glad Sony is going that way instead of the Netal shit. But realistically, I can't see it being really meaningful for real games until it becomes a standard in PS4.
