Actually according to the Red Steel 2 walkthrough they said the game can still sense where you want to point without staying within the screens limits.  That is another plus for...Motion+

Hopefully they make the Gamespot demonstration available for DL, because it looked like you had a crazy amount of control over the editing in modnation racers. From large landscape brushing down to individual objects like trees and track obstacles.

So true. I never got what the  draw was from head tracking. The screen should turn left when I turn my head left? Who's looking at the screen when your head is turned to the left?

Alright.  Just watched Sony's conference.

Last Guardian was the best thing I've seen so far from any company.  My inner Ico/SOTC DEFCOM cigarillo alarm is now at level 5.  Day freakin' one.  *sniff* beautiful.

Uncharted 2 looks fucking insane, as expected.  Same with Assassin's Creed 2 - I just hope they can flesh out the gameplay.

MAG?  lolz  No thank you.  And God of War 3 looks like it's going to suffer from too much of the same ol' same ol'.  Only for true fans of God of War it seems.

And GT5?  Eh.  I really don't like these types of games and the only reason Forza 3 caught my attention when it was unveiled yesterday was because of the seemingly huge leap Turn 10 has made from 2 to 3 in two years along with some of the video editing features, but normally don't give a shit about these "sim" racers and the GT5 trailer did nothing for me.  It's more Gran Turismo.

And for swaggle - don't want it.  Don't want it on Wii, don't want it on Natal, and don't want it here either.

Anyone know the supposed file size of FF7 PSP?

Can you use any type memory card with a PSP?

Where's the best place to watch Sony's show?

I just watched ModNation Racers vid.  The way those two guys did their little skit was terrible "Oh!  I think we might have something like that in here!"  What a coincidence!

Anyway, the game looks really neat.

I can't stop laughing at that.

 :lol :lol :lol

:lol I can't either.  I'm in awe of the lengths this guy has gone to to play a game in his living room.

real talk: what does sony have Q4 this year for PS3? Uncharted 2, MAG (guessing), Ratchet & Clank. Seems pretty bare, especially with no pricedrop. I'm probably missing something, Heavy Rain?

2010 lineup looks awesome though, as much as I don't find GOW3 that spectacular I can appreciate that it appeals to others.

They seem to be spacing things out a bit more evenly. I'm a bit surprised that they have already released two "big" games this year, but I also assumed that God of War III would make it out this year. And no racing game!  >:(

yeah, the line up seems a bit thin.

360 had Forza 3 and ODST, yeah? I'm trying to think if a bunch of games are exclusive or not like Bioshock 2.

im guessing they're going to rely on 3rd parties.

Microsoft does have ODST, Forza 3 and Splinter Cell, but that's not really much either I guess.♠

As much as I wanna gush about LBP PSP, I got burned once by the cute.  Not gonna happen again.  A good idea looking for better controls and less dippy-doo depth transition.

I'm in for Motorstorm, though.  Both PS3 versions have been good.

Conference had two good things about it, Uncharted 2 which looked amazing and Assassins Creed 2.

The rest was boring, sales talk included, and God of War 3 was like what? That looks boring as shit, what happened?

The "wand" was funny as hell, because between motion plus and Natal, it just seems like it doesn't matter.

God of War 3 looked like more God of War with impressive visuals, basically.  Not necessarily something I'm excited about, but you can see why people are interested.

The wand looks better than motion plus and Natal, I thought.  It has many strengths of the Natal project but still allows the use of buttons (which I do believe is important) and is actually near completion (who knows when Natal will hit).  Motion Plus is an improvement, but it's pointing capabilities are still based on IR, you only get one hand with quality motion tracking, and it's tied to shitty Wii hardware.

I'm not a huge motion control fan, but the Sony solution seems like the best of the three.

Assassin's Creed 2 was actually disappointing for me in that they seem to have done nothing to improve the design of the game.  It's still going to be the same type of information gathering followed by an assassination.  They've simply added more toys to the mix rather than trying to improve the repetitive and boring formula of the original.  They completely missed the boat.

Out of the three motion dealio's I think I like the Sony one the best.
It's a step up from Wii and I don't believe the Natal hype.

Weren't you suppose to buy card packs in the stores to increase you badassery or whatever? I'm sure nobody did that.

I think most people cheated and just printed them out online. I looked into getting another deck when I got it on clearance, but by then there were none sold in stores. I never really wanted one badly enough to order online. Not that anyone would ever want to play with me.  :lol

Eye of Judgement is pretty cool, but I think it's the nerdiest thing I own.

The motion controller is good but I don't believe Sony will be able to pull it off. They never seem to be able to follow through on many of their promises (the original eyetoy, lackluster singstar and other peripherals).

HAHA FAIL

I decided to purchase FF VII, which is the first PSP game that I've legitimately purchased in ages. I started the download for it at 8:30 this morning, and it ended up taking 6+ hours just to download. So awesome right, I'm pumped because it finally finished downloading.......except it now has to install.  :maf I've never had to install anything before. Anyways, that takes about another hour, so when that finishes I start it up............"5.50 Firmware is Required" :maf :maf :maf. Why on earth would I need to update firmware in order to play a 10+ year old game? FUCK YOU SONY

Moral of the story: it would have been infinitely easier to pirate the game. I feel sorry for all of you future PSP GO owners.
