I took an illustration class at this school and on an assignment I did palm trees in illustrator for a logo.

I got a great grade on it and things were swell.

So, this past week I was walking around campus to find a pamplet book for the school, with MY pine tree's splattered on the page. They took my tree and didn't really bother to add anything to it, pasted a couple of trees for repetition, and put it on some colorful background.

I'm under the impression that my illustration/graphic design teacher took my design and used it for something to be printed out and sent to people without telling me.

I told my family that.

They said, just finish it. I was like...ok, fine. Since I've already invested like 60-70k I might as well spend the last 30-40k and get a degree to show for it. And failing midterms is pretty normal. Just figure out what you did wrong and fix it for finals.

I dunno if I "hate" law. But it's an overcrowded field & an uninteresting life. Definitely not the super fun job of your dreams or anything unless you are doing criminal law and feel strongly on either side. I'd much rather be doing something awesome for money, but everything I enjoy doing and make money from I make like $8 an hour and I can't buy a family with that.

I want to go to your law school. Here they're required to take roll by the ABA and if you miss more than 20% of the classes (5 classes for a twice a week class, 2 classes for a once a week class) you get failed from the class. I've had and have several classes where I would only show up to sign the stupid roll sheet. :\ Waste of time and the boredom makes me hate life.
