Gears 2 is both better and worse than Gears 1. The point to point combat is better than ever, but the blatant Action Movie Sequences are so lame and poorly executed that it hurts. And there are tons of those scenes. That, and the clumsy attempts at force fitting emotional scenes into a game about roidmonster vs graarghmonster. Would probably rebuy it on PC, though.

And Gears 1 on PC was awesome. Didn't buy Gears 2 because I was waiting for this.

I never managed to get multi-channel audio working with Gears 1 on the PC.    :\

I would love to see Gears 2 show up on the PC (with all of the add-on content from the 360 version).

I thought that Gears 2 was a better game in every way compared to Gears 1. I did not enjoy the PC port of the first game though, in spite of the superior graphics and controls.

I'm absolutely certain they will be. Doubt the whole game will be better, but that bit is guaranteed. In part because that's something Naughty Dog is really good at, but also because of how shit Epic is at it.

Gears on PC had better graphics, better control, FREE multiplayer, and more levels. It shit all over the 360 version, and this one will too.

Gears was decent on the PC, I didn't like the game in general because I am all SNOBBY MCTOPHAT about what I play these days but it was really smooth running and good looking.

Sequel on the PC isn't a surprise, despite what Epic said about it not coming out on the PC ever. Will pick it up for $20 or if I can get a freebie copy from my friend at epic.

Yeah, I thought it sucked compared to the 360 version. They somehow managed to shit up friendly AI on the PC. I never noticed friendlies on the 360 version (which is a good thing), yet on the PC I was pulling my hair out.
