Stray cat is hanging around here

I can't believe how friendly this thing is. It runs up the driveway every time I arrive, meowing like crazy. It's thin as hell and eating a ton.

It had a collar on, wrapped around its front leg really tight. It was there for so long that the flesh partially grew around it. It had to be cut off and now the skin is quite raw, but the cat is eating well and seems to have a lot of energy. It's all set up with a box and blanket to sleep in, I'm going to give it a day or two to see if a vet visit is necessary.

Yup, I don't mind. I hesitate to take it inside though since I already have two. Maybe I'll have a change of heart when the weather starts getting shitty.

All of our cats have always been strays. The last one that we adopted was part of a feral cat's litter that took up residence in a vacant house that my parent's own.

We usually have between 1-3 cats living in our front/backyard.  Grey, Black and White.  Not sure where they come from or where they go but I usually say hi to them when I see them every few days.

I miss Oscar
Seriously, I could leave him alone for hours outside.  Just didn't come back one night.  The other one showed up a week after I was sure the ice storms would have killed him.  Pleasantly surprised.  I got him a new friend but they seem to be apathetic to each other now.  The new kitty likes to hang out under porches so I have the flea problem from hell right now.  I'm about to fog my apartment.
