Gunn is back baby!

I highly doubt it will, because he's got a formula that works, but it would be funny if it ended up sucking.

IF YOU HAVEN'T figured it out by the time you see a young Hitler being fellated by a Viennese sex worker, Love, Death & Robots isn't your average Netflix show.

Of course, if you haven't figured it out, you probably haven't been paying attention: "Alternate Histories," which features said act being performed upon said icon of evil, is the 17th of 18 episodes in the animated anthology. By that point, you'll have seen full frontal nudity (male, female, and demonic); you'll also have seen a zero-G rendition of 127 Hours that deserves every Foley Art award possible, plentiful crushed heads, and even more plentiful arcing ichorous spews, and a sex scene that looks like the result of Cinemax becoming a game developer.

Sadly the collection is mostly terrible garbage.

The ‘game developer turns Cinemax’ sentiment is pretty accurate but not exactly an endorsement.  :doge

Yeah visuals aside, there's nothing that interesting in any of 'em, unfortunately.
Most of them look like videogame cutscenes/trailers, but with some nudity.

Damn, that looks amazing. It gives me that same goofy vibes of Pulp Fiction.

Brad Pitt is slowly morphing into Robert Redford.

It's only a visual rhyme. I still read everything out loud, so you're good.

Glad to see Tarantino back in a modern era, but the trailer surprisingly doesn’t do anything for me. Will watch anyway because Tarantino and the cast is stacked.

Shazam! is at 97% fresh (32 reviews so far) - who would've thought? It looked like hot trash.

It looked like trash? I never thought it looked great, but the trailers had some fun jokes. I’m not surprised it’s reviewing well, it looked like it had its heart in the right place.

I just didn't know where they were going with the (what lookd like a cheap) foam muscle suit and were going for dumb and ironic or were actually leaning into the kid fantasy thing.

Shazam to me looked like the Superhero version of The Last Action Hero. So the corny elements fit.

I mean Shazam is basically what if Superman was a kid - it's not high art like avengers.
