Had to double check this wasn't a Doublefine game or made by ex-Doublefine people (it's not), because it reallllllly looks like a Doublefine game.

Haha, missed those.

I like how it's not even samurai sword girl, it's just a hot and sexy samurai sword for you.

I bought it.  :-* It's from the makers of Rapelay, but there's no rape in this one AFAIK. Basically, you make anime waifus with a (fairly in-depth) character creation system. You can export your own creations, or import other people's, which are all unsurprisingly from anime or Persona 5. Then you enroll in a school populated by your (non-copyright infringing) creations and bang them. Your aunt is the principal and she wants the girls at her all-girls school to get an opportunity to practice sex with you before they go out into the real world (seems legit). You talk to girls until their H-meter is full and then request their consent to do the sexy time. There are some story events too, but I feel like that's not really the focus of this game. I had sex with a yandere girl that said she would die for me if I asked her to. :heartbeat

They did pitch one to Sega, but since AP bombed pretty hard... Here's hoping Microsoft wants to take some risks. Big risks. :'(

UPDATE 20th June 2019: Sega has been in touch to say it still owns the Alpha Protocol IP, and to clarify the game was pulled from Steam due to the expiry of music rights.

Last night, Sega issued a statement saying Alpha Protocol was removed on Steam "following the expiry of Sega's publishing rights". This was incorrect.

Sega didn't expand on its statement about the expiry of music rights, but it probably has something to do with scenes like the boss fight in the video below, which includes Turn Up The Radio by Autograph. Given Alpha Protocol is nine-years-old, re-licensing music for the game probably didn't make much sense to Sega.

Blah, music rights expiration has fucked so many games in the long term. These music contracts are really short-sighted.

May end up only getting Hunie Pop.  :lol

The PC game pass thing is going to kill impulse buying a lot of games. I have already downloaded (and not tried) Metro Exodus, Hollow Knight, Hellblade, and Mutant Year Zero.  :success

You can download a torrent of Daria with the right music, can't remember what it's called. At least they released it, Ed is in purgatory forever.

XCOM 2 expansion War of the Chosen is $13, think that's the cheapest I have seen it.

AFAIK, still works. I'm like level 68-70 from 40 pre-sale just spending 1,000 gold a pop for 10 levels to like 200.

Quote
Behind the scenes at Steam, we create many experimental features with codenames like The Peabody Recommender and Organize Your Steam Library Using Morse Code. For the first time, we're giving these works-in-progress a home called Steam Labs, where you can interact with them, tell us whether you think they're worth pursuing further, and if so, share your thoughts on how they should evolve.

We've selected three initial experiments to share as we launch the Labs. Each of these is designed to help people find the games they'll love.

Micro Trailers are lovingly-generated six-second game trailers, arranged on a page so you can digest them all at a glance. Check out our new micro trailer collections for adventure games, RPGs, builders, and more.

The Interactive Recommender looks at your top-played games and uses machine learning to recommend other titles it thinks you'll love. Find old classics by directing it toward popular titles released in the past ten years, or discover that diamond-in-the-rough by zeroing in on niche games launched in the past six months.

The Automated Show is a half-hour video featuring the latest Steam launches. Leave it on a second monitor while you work, or glue your eyeballs to it and let hundreds of games wash over you.

So pop on your lab coat, try the experiments, and then share your feedback to help shape the future of Steam.

To follow future news and additions to Steam Labs, join the Steam Labs Community Group, where we'll share announcements and updates.

Cheers!
-The Steam Team
