Doesn't seem better than DMC or NG to me. I am a Kamiya fan, but I'm not seeing his "Bayonetta is going to be 100000x better than every other action game on the market"

Then again the combat is just too easy against these enemies to really get a feel for the battle system. After one play it felt like DMC but more loose and floaty which is not what I would call and improvement.

When are they announcing DMC5

i've seen comparisons to viewtiful joe made.

and i think they're right. it seems to be more about looking stylish than skillfully taking down your enemies.

I don't like memorizing combo strings. It's why I don't play Tekken and at least in NG you only have to know 1 or 2 combos per weapon since it's more about timing and movement. If you're going to have to actually learn all the combo strings to get high scores it'd be a shame.

You don't have to memorize combos, you can make your own. Mix and mash. You can do stinger from DMC

This game is gonna be so fuck awesome. Second time through the demo and I got Gold, I'm gonna go for Platinum

There's one higher than Platinum, at least in fights, so I imagine they have it in levels too. I think it's called Perfect Platinum or something like that. I got it in the fight with the two guys after the fountain...not getting hit was the condition.

Wow, it's night and day. I understand that the PS3 version is just a frame-skip nightmare. the framerate might be 30, but the frame skipping is pretty damn bad, which is why it looks so choppy. It's like when you run an emu with frame skip on and it doesn't look right. and yes, that does impact gameplay, depending on how your brain/eye perceive and react to it. I'm sure PS3 tards will continue to defend it as "not that bad" and claim they can't see the difference though.

But the 360 version is where it should be. This game is fucking awesome.

Stop getting hit, Junpei. I got Platinum just fine. When you play it like Viewtiful Joe instead of NG/DMC then it all clicks and the game folds right in front of you.

itll say mixed media disc on the dash, you have to go to your games list and it should be there

The 360 Bayonetta's superiority over the PS3 port is noticeable almost immediately. Even the title screen looks better. All the issues the PS3 version has, like frame rate and image quality? Not a problem on the 360 version. The picture is crisp and clear, not muddy and blurry, and the frame rate is a stable 60 fps.

The PS3 version feels like an incomplete alpha build. It's really sad that's what the final game is going to be like. Unsurprisingly, the 360 version is much, much better.

ps3 version of ghostbusters was sub-hd. i mean it was damn near star ocean 4 battle res before it was patched. a patch which didn't add much additional res at all.

compared to the ps3 version it most certainly does. it's also more responsive due to the higher framerate.

Also interesting is that the 360 demo runs in English (or whatever language your system is set to), while the PS3 demo is in Japanese (although everyone speaks English and you can have English subtitles for cut scenes).

If you don't play the 360 version, then yeah, I can agree with you, but the PS3 version is running at an unstable 30fps (360 is rock solid 60) and there image quality issues...look at how blurry/muddy a lot of stuff looks. It's very clean on 360. I hope the finished PS3 version ends up not having these problems, but the game is only weeks away from release.

Makes total sense. Only Japs and Wapanese will get the PS3 version.

ok so i just tried the 360 version and its sooo much better, everything is much clearer.

nothing new really, just restating the ps3 version is a blurry screen tearing failure

also confirming that rip i posted works

edit: plus the menus are in english and the clock tower stuff was cool looking. The ps3 version has some rival/sister fight the 360 version didnt though, I guess to make up for it

ah, true. Kinda annoying how the 360 version cuts off half way through that fight. The end of the fight is like 3 minutes away at that point too. Not like it would spoil the game to leave it in

Tip if you dont want to use a dvd or cd for the demo if you have a HDD transfer cable. You can download "xport" or "explorer 360" then download the demo hook up your hdd to the computer and look for the content folder. Drop in the demo and your good to go.

Personally between the two its like night and day. It can't come out sooner on 360 for me and the misses.

You can do that? I have a transfer cable, didnt thnk it would be useful beyond moving content.
