Oh hell yeah its hella usefull. You can move around all kinds of things. If your using the xport software from datel (free on the datel site) the content is under partition 3 on the 120gb hdd. You can copy saves, move profiles, and install themes from OXM discs you download.

Yeah I'm done, game is pretty hilariously fruity.  Solid enough seeming action title that looks pretty on the 360- can't speak to the PS3 issues since I don't have one but on the 360 everything looks really good.  Game plays like an easier Ninja Gaiden on acid, but in a good way.  Still looks like it's in the "will buy when it drops in price" category for me, since these sorts of titles aren't my bread and butter.  Definitely makes for an interesting diversion tho, and the main character is as cheeseburger-licious as advertised.

Great music eh Triumph.

No, it's pretty fuckin' fruity, but it fits well with the game since the whole thing is one big ball of ridiculousness.

it tears a good bit on the 360 too.  but not the perma-tearing that seems to happen on the PS3.

The PS3 version is significantly blurrier and the colors seem more washed out.

The 360 is definitely crisper. After all the doom and gloom I was expecting a total disaster going into the PS3 demo, and I got something that was far from it.

I saw a TON of screen tearing, but aside from that I never noticed drops in the frame rate discernable to the human eye. I tried to do everything I could in-game to kill the frame rate, but it wasn't happening. That, or I seriously can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 FPS.

I didn't watch any videos, I compared the two demos directly.  The moment you start playing the 360 version, it is instantly noticeable that the frame rate is 60fps, rock solid, and that the image quality is a lot better.  The PS3 version on its own is fine, but it gets spanked all over the place by the 360 version.  This isn't one of those cases where one version is slightly better than the other to the point that the differences aren't even noticeable unless you're looking for them; it's HUGE.

Why the fuck is Sega allowing the game to stay like this on PS3?  Wouldn't that be the lead platform in Japan?  SMH.

Tip if you dont want to use a dvd or cd for the demo if you have a HDD transfer cable. You can download "xport" or "explorer 360" then download the demo hook up your hdd to the computer and look for the content folder. Drop in the demo and your good to go.

Personally between the two its like night and day. It can't come out sooner on 360 for me and the misses.

Leave it as a .RAR and drop it in, or just toss the decompressed contents in, higgledy piggledy?

Yeah, it's an absolute mess.  It's a shame Platinum Games did not handle the port on their own, though I suppose the situation suggests that they would have had problems as well.  This feels like the PS3 Orange Box situation or something.  The PS3 version is not worthy of a retail release at this point.  Seems like the team porting it was both at the mercy of Platinum and learning the PS3 hardware.  What's more disappointing is the fact that the game doesn't even look as nice as DMC4.  >_<

Still, at least they didn't attempt a Wii version.

Bayonetta is DMC for distinguished mentally-challenged fellows, admit it. Why bother putting "Automatic" in when Normal mode is exactly that?

Demi, check out the PC version of DMC4 if you ever want to play it again.

It has a mode which doubles the amount of enemies.  There's a trainer which lets you unlock everything so you don't need to go through the trouble of beating it several times.

Prole says in the Borecast that it can be found now for $6 or so.

I fear and look foward to seeing the achivement/trophies. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a get Pure Platinum on everything or a mode where you can only damage enemies while in Witch Time.

 :'( I don't think I'm skilled enough for that.

'cause Capcom is dumb and you would have to beat the game twice to unlock the special mode with extra enemies.

It's a 15 minute demo with what seem to be the average enemies.  Whether it's any good or not will be determined by everything over normal.  Or maybe we just an easy slice and normal will be a half decent challenge.

the 360's framerate would be even higher if it didn't take the cutscenes (which are capped at 30fps) into account

I played the PS3 demo, and it's a proper action game. I wasn't expecting to like it, since I was never a DMC fan, but now I feel like getting it. But only for 360.
