Yeah, much better when it's critically fucked from the start.

Lulz, some dude just picked up a weapons crate containing a B2 run.

From GAF:

"If you get killed while using the controlled kill streaks, you continue to control the killstreak until it expires or is destroyed by the other team, whichever comes first."

So you can't just sneak up on a dude with a laptop and kill him out of the AC-130 seat, as he will control the thing from beyond the grave.

:piss This game :piss2

:lol what the fuck.

so you could die, but still be controlling the AC-130 for like 2 minutes if no one destroyed it

Yup. It's rad. And hell, with the new killstreak crate system, you could technically get the AC-130 or chopper gunner seat right away.

With the new IW.net, how many players can it support at one time with each server set-up, 8 vs 8, 12 vs 12, 16 vs 16, and how much bandwidth are we talking about per player basis, Upload and Download?

Mackey-IW
The max number of players on all platforms are 1v1 through 9v9. This is the number of players we focused on when we were balancing map size, perks, classes, challenges, etc.

 Saucy
Will the DLC for PC version cost anything?

Quote:
Vince-IW
No idea yet.

h4msandwich
Has IWnet been tested in European settings? My clan plays european leagues and we got ppl from Eastern europe, UK and Sweden meeting in the same match. How is this going to play out considering siginificant differences in Bandwith and connection qualities between players. Will host player always have the ping advantage. Can a match be hosted by 'third' person, not taking part in the match?

Quote:
Mackey-IW
Players do not control who hosts.

 kaRMa
Please give me a direct answer. On the PC version. Are all games hosted by players, and is there a 5 second delay when host migration is in effect?

Quote:
Vince-IW
yes.

Moriarte
Ignoring IW.net, is the PC version a direct port of the console version?

Quote:
Mackey-IW
No, PC has custom stuff like mouse control, text chat in game, and graphics settings.

Customizable graphics settings on the PC?  Hot dog!

I'm surprised that the PC version isn't locked at 1024x600 resolution and requires a 360 controller to play.

honestly, I haven't played an FPS in MP for so long, but making a game completely balls out distinguished mentally-challenged would entice me to try it.  Maybe if there's a BF sale or a way to get it cheap used, I'll play it over break.

wow, cold blooded.  i thought IW was mainly a PC dev before.

Watch videos from before CoD4 came out and it has people from IW talking about all the extra features and customization options on the PC version.  Then CoD4 got popular and they stopped caring.

and FOV 64.  Fuck.  I'm going to get a headache playing this.

btw, I called that they will take out leaning months ago.  My next guess is that it lacks some basic visual options for PC games, kinda like what Borderlands does.

Since they're touting PC controllers branded with this game's logo, I am guessing it has plug and play support as well as aim assist, and there will probably be no way to turn off the aim assist so that the game is "balanced" and "fair" for everyone (the same "experience!".

Real talk, no trolling - regardless of the quality (which is subjective), it's a console game to the core now.  Either buy it for consoles or don't buy it at all.

Honestly, the trailer is kind of awesome in a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow adolescent powertrip fantasy way.

Blow up a castle
Jump over a cliff
Crash a snowmobile
Blow up a spaceship
Blow up Washington, DC
Be a terrorist

Does MW2 have a first person sex scene? It should.
