That's not even the dumbest thing in the episode lol. I thought they were trying to reign it in a little with the last two seasons, but the last episode proved that nope, the show is still full on looney toons

Man what happened to Homeland. S1 was great, despite the finale feeling like a cop out. Despite the ending not doing what it should have done, S2 could have been good....but was atrocious instead. S3 was better, but still weak. I think I quit a few episodes into S4.

Binged Unreal S2 a few days ago. I couldn’t get into S2 as it was airing because it seemed so much worse than the awesome first season. I think the problem may have been that I just wasn’t able to binge it. S2 was pretty great, although the beginning is the roughest patch.

Finished my rewatch of season 2 of The Wire.

Still can't really decide whether I like it more than the first season. Some of the episodes really dragged; overall it took me longer to finish it compared to season 1.
But I still admire how they effortlessly switched setting and characters while still keeping plotlines and people from the first season relevant. The new characters from the docks and the (pseudo-)Greek mob are very different. Some of them are pretty fun and interesting, while others are Ziggy.

Season 2 does have the more gut-wrenching scenes in my opinion. Like what happened to D'Angelo Barksdale. Or Frank Sobotka visiting his son in prison. I mean season 1 has the thing with Wallace, but that was long in coming while those I mentioned from season 2 often came kinda out of nowhere.

In the end they're both great seaons. Gonna wait a bit though, until I continue with season 3.

This has the opposite problem of the Unabomber show. In that, they made the Unabomber too sexy. In Waco, they picked an uggo to play Koresh. Skip.

He’s giving a better performance than he normally does, but he’s definitely not looking as good as Koresh. He must of traded some of his looks for talent.

I was pleasantly surprised it didn't lose any steam despite the finale of the first season. Not sure if they have much to say from where they are now though.

Michael Shannon is great in this.

I like to pretend the last scene of his and Shae Wigham from Boardwalk was a dream, and they just aged really well and changed careers sometime between 1935 and 1993.

Not sure why I bothered watching all of Doctor Foster.

First episode was way too relatable, to the point where I felt really uncomfortable watching. But I had to keep watching to see what happened. The plot twisted, the protagonist was an annoying bitch, and I don't recommend this show at all. What a mess. :lol

The first half S2 being described as 'boring' made me think they must have pushed the boundaries of boring if its worse than S1
