I liked the new Community, though it never really had me on the floor.

I've liked the Office alot more than everyone who's been bitching and moaning about it for seemingly forever, but this one did nothing for me unfortunately.

Decided to give it a shot last night and was pleasantly surprised. Great first ep. It reminds me of Gormenghast a bit with its focus on the servants of a noble family and scheming and back stabbing.

Is this the last season? I hope so I want some awesome closure

One more, there are exactly 15 episodes left (2 more this season). This season really does feel like the final one though. I can't see another arc after this.

About the episode that just aired. Perfect TV. That ending gave me chills.

Am I the only one excited for the new show with Kevin Dillon, Dave Foley and Rhys Darby?

From what I remember of Season 3 it felt very "in between". Crossing over between the small scale stuff to where we are now, not really allowing the really big moments to happen (other than that infamous Hank scene). But now that it really feels like its wrapping up, it's fucking amazing. I'm left wondering if they can really pull off closing out the series satisfyingly with 15 or so more episodes left. "Crawl Space" really did feel like the second to last episode in the series.

Season four has the wild, out of control spiral feel that made the first two seasons incredible. Everything just constantly feels like it's on the brink of a total nuclear meltdown. Season three just kinda felt like it had no momentum to it until the last few episodes.

this is exactly why something huge has to happen in the next two eps! they can't drag the current situation out much/any further which is obviously why it's ramped up so quickly over the last 2-3 eps. i am so excited about the possibilities but the start of this season did kinda shatter my illusions re: vince gilligan's infallibility plus walt revealing that the cancer's back (either in the next or the last episode) will probably slow things down again  >:( . i'm kinda sad that nothing too bad can happen to walt any time soon because i've really come to hate him over the course of this season. he will have to get pretty charming for me to not be glad when he dies in s05e17!

Starting Spartacus, but am already sad about the lead actor.

Also found a copy of Clone Wars (CG) Season 1. Watched an ep. It was surprisingly good, but clearly targeted at kids, like the Prequels.

Why do people call him Flynn?

he briefly tried to get people to call him Flynn in the 1st or 2nd season as a heavy handed way of showing how little he respected his namesake. can't remember what Walt had done to deserve that though.. maybe just all the time away from home? i should rewatch this show in its entirety but my gf is really against rewatching anything.

Three episodes into Terriers. Best pilot I've seen in a while! It's definitely not without its weaknesses -- I'm especially unimpressed by the character of Hank, who feels like a neutered version of the same antihero protagonist I've been watching for a decade, and there have also been a few distractingly bad lines of dialogue -- but I can understand the outrage over it being canned after a single season.

Speaking of the cancellation, every promo pic I saw for this show had me thinking it was about the bromance between a pair of dog catchers or something. I would have never watched if I didn't see it mentioned here and on /tv/.

edit: Might as well cover Fringe S4 while I'm at it. What a mess. The monster-of-the-week episodes are the strongest thing it has going right now.

Peter not existing past childhood is idiotic on so many levels. I still cringe at the thought of that awful scene at the end of S3 with all the Observers "explaining" his disappearance
