watching Brisco County Jr

some things hold up, other things don't

it's very enjoyable though as a pulpy adventure western.

I just finished watching it like a week ago.  :o

Hannah Montana, Seasons 1 -and 2. It's not great.
Jackson is hilarious sometimes.

I can also vouch for this.  :-\

Watching Wire in the Blood. I've caught odd episodes now and then, but this is the first time I've had the chance to go through the seasons. Fucking awesome stuff, really embarrasses US shows with similar themes and cast profiles. Criminal Intent (Goren or Logan episodes) still compares reasonably well, but in typical Euro tradition, there's plenty more content in a shorter run.

I'm mildly interested in HBO's John Adams miniseries.  A friend recommended it.  Has anyone here seen it?

I think it's definitely worth a watch. It skips around so it can cover the most pivotal moments of Adams' life, so it almost feels a bit incomplete, but what's there is pretty great and also interesting. I didn't know much about Adams myself before watching, and I feel like that arguably makes it better, as he's almost a forgotten man since his contemporaries were Washington, Jefferson and Franklin. It delves into the jealousy Adams has of those men; how he realizes history will not remember him as fondly as those three.

Looks amazing

God damn it, Wire in the Blood loses one of its strongest components after the 3rd season. Now it's just Robson Greene as Robson Greene in Robson Greene: Criminal Psychologist vs the Angry (Female) Doubters. Shit.  :gloomy

I'm betting she'll probably marry her fiance and move out of Utah.  Either that or maybe go to university.

I can't believe her fiance is whatshisfuck from Breaking Bad! I didn't recognize him without him saying "yo" all the time!

So, is anyone watching Party Down? It's streaming online and on Netflix. Totally brilliant comedy from the makers of Veronica Mars (and Paul Rudd???).

I thought it was funny that the American Playboy Playmate got further than the Ninja Warrior All-Star she "trained" with.

You can skip up to the Jack Black episode, the show really doesn't hit its stride until then. Everything before is basically every TV show cliche you can imagine, but with good acting.

Shit did in fact NOT get crazy. They're STILL being distinguished mentally-challenged fellows. Samuel finally found his reason to be evil - he got dumped by his girlfriend, so he leveled an entire city

I think theres only like 3 episodes left

Caught the rerun of the Edward Norton episode of Modern Family, easily the weakest episode of the series. They really wasted a lot of talent on nothing there.

I mean, sure, it's not very good.  But it's not terrible.  It's just mediocre, friendly and safe.  But I've seen nerds spout off on it like it's the worst thing ever created.  It makes me chuckle every once in a while.  It's not like... NCIS bad or something.

Its all so forced.  Everyone is just standing by with some stupid witty retort that barely fits into a conversation.  Scrubs kinda does this too but they set up the comedy better.
