The Following. Very brutal for a show on Fox, I felt. Pretty compelling too. I thought all the Poe references was a bit much even though the serial killer is obsessed with him.

I'd give it a shot. Its on Hulu. Kevin Bacons character is a bit of a cliche though but hey, its a pilot. Although the way the pilot ends is divergent from normal network fare.

Just started watching American Horror Story for the first time.

I'm conflicted. I really love the premise and how its progressed so far, but some of the directorial decisions have bothered me. How its shot, how its edited, etc.

And fuck, the young Moira is fucking sexy.

Also, I LOVE Tate. All the fans of the show like to say he's the most evil person in the show but I think he found redemption in his death. He's a great character.

Too bad Kata Mara is an annoying cunt in the show.

I've had trouble with moving past episode 9 in asylum. It really just seemed to lose steam and direction. So sad considering the first 7 episodes are fucking god tier.

This season of AHS wasn't as good as the first one. Just too many plotlines that went nowhere and had nothing to do with each other. There were still a lot a good things about it though, like interesting characters and visuals.

Watched the first ep of Happy Endings' two-fer tonight since it airs in Canada on Mondays. Funniest episode of the season yet (it just keeps topping itself).

The beginning scene with Max going, "FUCK YOU! AND FUCK YOU! AND FUCK YOU! AND FUCK YOU!" is basically my response to people who are not watching the show and thus depleting its ratings. DVR New Girl ffs.

I saw episodes 1-3 today, it's very good looking show and I really enjoyed it but yes it's very violent. So many people start dying in the show, it's kinda ridiculous.

The boxer storyline has slowed the pace down in Justified, but the end of the recent episode sets up some interesting things for the future.

I'm looking forward to The Americans tonight. I'm a sucker for spy stuff and Keri Russell was pretty badass in MI:3.

Finished off AHSA. Yeah, the last two eps felt like an awful lot of stuff could have just been folded into earlier episodes. Maybe they were afraid of confusing the demographic that watches the show.

And as awesome as it was, the first was much MUCH better, partly due to the mad decent freshness I guess.

Also it's coming back again this year, I don't know about that.

What I really liked about the last ep of Banshee, was the way the arresting of the MMA guy went utterly OTT. The finger splitting move is actually used irl by various special forces, and Shin Bet/Hummous countries.

Which part? Title sequence is a complete rip off of True Bloods, pretty clear they're going for a similar aesthetic/audience, with some similar/same actors (Pam Beaufort/Kristen whatshername), just felt kinda lame.
