Loved the comic. This looks like a faithful adaptation of its weirdness.
interesting to cast the biggest name as #7

I’m so honkin’ hooked on Riverdale. I want the whole male cast to pee the white pee in my mouth until I’m cum drunk and then I want Cheryl to slice open my jizz- and jingle jangle-filled belly.

The Netflix Black Lightning show seems good so far. The biblical references are pretty good. I especially enjoyed that the hero was resurrected after a piercing wound to his rib cage.

My new fascination is with Great News. Exec produced by Tina Fey, this is not 30 Rock, but it’s close enough for what I need. Really enjoying the style of humor, and interaction between the characters.

The biggest and best news for me though is that Travelers is back. Season three just released on December 14, this is the best science fiction that no one seems to be watching. Really like it.

I wasn't fond of the first ep of Great News either. I also didn't like The Good Place after its first ep. I'm glad I stuck with both, though.

Momo, I'm not sure how you managed to missed what's awesome about Travelers. I was caught immediately, and pretty swept up through the end of s2. I'm not sure how I feel about s3 yet, as they've rolled back some stuff that would have consequences, or at least appear to be doing so. But it's still my jam, so I'll keep with it.

I started watching La case de papel (Money Heist), the show definetly has some weaknesses and some of the characters behave like absolute morons but the show is carried by its suspense and some good actors.
I binge watched the first season in 2 days. :lawd

I started this, need to get back to it. Yeah, the characters act like idiots, and I don't see how they can maintain the suspense for a season, but I'm ready to watch them try.

The Magicians was on USA Netflix, so I downloaded a bunch of it and enjoyed the first half-dozen episodes. It's like Hogwarts except everyone is a little bit Slytherin, and lots of the students are letting it slither in. It's got a strong Narnia analog going, something like Philip Jose Farmer's A Barnstormer in Oz, by dragging a children-focused work into an adult scenario. It's fun, but I think I'll wait until it shows up for free here.

Animation has been shaky for the three done by DR Movie, but the first six eps of Young Justice S3 have been great overall.

Nice return of focus back to Team's original members as the Outsiders come into play.

Watching season 3 of The Man in the High Castle.

Again a TV show that is way past the original premise and just keeps going but I like the nonsense alternative history for some reason.  :thinking

NINE NINE!

Santiago has the librarian/nerd/authoritarian vibe we all want, but as a fan of indifferent, tough bisexuals, I remain Team Diaz.

Finally watching Season 2 of Dream Corp LLC (produced by Jim Krasinski) and my opinion is still the same: this is among the greatest TV shows ever created. It's already an Adult Swim classic for me. The juxtaposition of people having emotional breakthroughs in an absurd setting, the wacky premise (that all cutting edge technology has an initial "sketchy" period for early adopters), the unique cast of lunatics running a medical facility, it's just such a winning formula for me. Closest thing I could think of (probably because of the rotoscope, sorry) is A Scanner Darkly.

Finished Season 3 of the Man in the High Castle.

After the mediocre Season 2 this sure got things moving again and me excited for Season 4.
They introduced some great new characters.

I do feel that John Smith is actually the main character of this thing now.

Also the actor that plays Himmler really nails the "evil psychopath" performance. That shit is intense.

True Detective ep3 was fine but being familiar with Saulnier's style the switch from his direction in ep1/2 to someone else was pretty apparent. Felt like it went from stylish to a standard procedural. Which is ok because at this point I'm in it for the story and the main two actors. But still a shame Saulnier had a falling out with pizzaman and couldn't do the whole show Fukunaga style. It would have looked amazing. I think from a cinematography perspective Saulnier's my favorite modern director. He's like Fincher at his prime but with a bit more style even?

I think ep4 is where Pizzaman makes his directorial debut. I'm a little scared  :omg

DC kills it with their TV stuff. Even this dark TITANS interpretation works better than any of the Snyderverse grimdark meathook bullshit.
