Help fight against the evil secular War on Christmas!

Yes, that's a website where crazy christian nutbars can go and rate a store's kowtowing to the Jesus set.  If you have "happy holidays" signs up instead of Merry Christmas, prepare to feel the wrath of not having these lunatics in your store!  That'll learn ya!

I spent a lot of money on gifts, and I know Supply Side Jesus approves.

Comment: Very offended by the recent advertisement. How dare they suggest we celebrate what we want? This is a Christian nation.

Comment: I will never buy anything with their name on it or wear it. They are truly offensive in their year round marketing that is corrupting our youth with the lack of modesty they sell.

Comment: First thing I notice is that they are only playing non-Christian Christmas songs (Jingle Bells, etc.). Unacceptable. I ask a clerk, "What is the reason for the season?" and I get back "What?". I buy a shirt and when they ask me what kind of wrapping paper, I reply that I want nativity paper or something showing the baby Jesus. They say they only have snowflakes and snowmen and green/red paper. What does green and red have to do with JESUS?

Comment: I do love walmart and I shop there all the time because they have some of the best prices but I was VERY disappointed that there were no nativitiy scenes and they said they had not gotten any in this year. That is part of the true meaning of christmas and that is very sad to me.

Comment: Was very disappointed with the religious Christmas cards this year. In years past I have bought all my Christmas cards at Wal-Mart because they had really good cards that presented the true meaning of Christmas, there was a nice selection of them and of course the price was good. Not this year. Of a whole aisle, maybe 1/2 dozen of religious ones and the selection was not great.

Comment: Couldn't find a Nativity scene and was told they did not order any this year.

Comment: The ability to give to the needy through the Salvation Army collection baskets at this time of year is a given - or should be. Shame on Target for not allowing this to take place at their stores. I will shop elsewhere this "Christmas" Season and throughout the year. ...

Comment: The Salvation Army is not allowed to be in front of the stores to collect money to help people. That's NOT the way we do things at Christmas time [in America] and it puts a damper on the spirit of the season. I won't shop there at this time of year because of this.

Those are actually valid complaints, why the hell not let the Salvation Army be outside stores collecting money?  There's no shortage of needy people thanks to the politicians these people no doubt vote for!

You'll have to go to the Gap to plunk your coins down that Swine Flu-infested red bucket, sir.

Oh, wait!

Comment: I actually saw a commercial here in Santa Fe, NM where they wished everyone a Happy Holidays, Happy Kwanza, Happy Hanukah, and, believe it or not, a Happy Winter Solstice, which, I believe, is the pagan astronomical celebration of winter, steeped in New Ageism. ABOLUTLEY NO MENTION OF CHRISTMAS.

YOUR FILTHY CHRISTIAN MONEY IS NOT WELCOME THERE EITHER!

Comment: The original holiday celebrated in this country is Christmas. No one mention of this holiday with all the others rattled off was stated in the Gap's first holiday commercial. No one has the right to remove Christmas from our country or our vocabulary!

having worked mail order during christmas for half a decade the main thing going on here is that for every christmas loving christian you have some new york times reading asshat jew that gets all up in arms when you dont say "happy holidays", for christians to not shop at a store because they dont cater to their specific religious needs is ridiculous

Why do people get all up in arms about this shit? Who cares if people call it Christmas? It has like nothing to do with Christ unless you're a hardcore Christian nut.

Can we extend this to Easter? Everywhere except hardware stores will have to close, and even they will only be allowed to sell 2x4s and nails.

It's actually considered sinful by many christians to feast and celebrate on christmas as jesus' birth was apparently in very homely conditions.  It's supposed to be an actual religious day where you sit, pray, think and do shit that actually matters in any religion anywhere.  And it's doubtful that it's even "celebrated" on the right day but whatever, it's funny seeing the crazies make a fuss about this every year.

Well not in this century but it's not like you even have to do anything to be a christian anymore if saying merry christmas is considered hardcore.  It's just annoying seeing people be so defensive when there's not much of the original religion/dogma left anymore.

This is such a made-up rage fest. I'm an athiest and I have a goddamn Santa outfit. Considering Athiests are such a small VOCAL minority, I don't think people bend to those whims.

But hey, let's just let the Christians think they're being oppressed.

Christmas has jack shit to do with its namesake, lulz. In that, they are right. Of course, this idea that their dumb belief is somehow the root of the celebration is hilarious.

Well, it's all a calculated movement. If Christians ever become complacent with the country, their numbers will dwindle. The midwest thinks the coastal areas are a giant affront to Jesus. When I talk to friends from Oklahoma and they talk about how Christianity is under attack I just go along with it and try to change the topic. You aren't changing their minds. If O'Reilly says it, it must be true.

Also, I submitted a fake review there. I'll probably get banned and it'll be rejected. (Too bad it's moderated)

Besides, wouldn't it be more christian (lulz) to pick your shopping destinations based on how the mothership treats its employees, fair trade policies, and so forth? But I suppose this is the easy thing to do.

This is why I probably wouldn't do well at retail these days. I'd probably respond by saying that Jesus was likely green and red on the cross from the gangrene and blood and puss and all. They would gasp and I'd assure them that really, not to worry, the Holidays are all about going into debt and not bloody jesus corpse. And then I'd get fired.

No it's technically Jesus's birth not death.  So the red and green would be the "gangrene and blood and puss and all" from the amniotic fluid and placenta left on the stable floors for the barn animals to wallow in.

The green is obviously from evergreen trees that don't lose their leaves but the red is actually from this highly hallucinogenic and pretty toxic mushroom that Siberian tribes would give to the reindeer as a treat when they were training them.  Soon enough, they tested it for themselves and tripped balls leading to a custom where a shaman would eat the mushrooms, his kidneys would filter out the toxins, and then everybody else would drink his hallucinogenic urine that isn't toxic anymore.  That's also where Rudolph gets his red nose as they would lead the reindeer around by putting the mushrooms in front of their nose.

The shrooms are also where the idea of santa coming down a chimney comes from.  They would put up a pole through the hole in the center of their tent and once they got a fire going and some shaman-piss flowing, they imagined spirits/ancestors going up and down that pole.  The Romans basically kept every single thing about Siberian christmas except for the drugs and urine parts.
