It's a double edged sword. On one hand admission to the man about your past may seem honest, but transsexuals and transgendered people are statistically one of the most physically abused people. So what are you going to do? Risk getting beaten - or killed in some cases - or don't tell him because it doesn't really matter? If she told you she was just incapable of reproducing would that really change anything and would your opinions of her change based on this new information compared to if she was, say, a mtf?

I honestly don't think cheeseburger surprise happens as much as its made out on the internet. It makes for great internet porn but in real life its probably not that common. I mean of course there will initially be potentially a surprise but that is sort of inherent because of the situation.  

It's pretty simple. People are attracted to a lot of different things. I find it silly to make fun of people being attracted to certain things that I'm not no matter what the case (unless I'm kidding around or something) although I completely understand a dude not being attracted to another dude that now looks like a women. But then I feel the same way about two dudes being attracted to each other.
