I'm not sure. Aside from the new controls, I think the rest of the changes have been cosmetic. But the trilogy will be balls hard to find new with Nintendo now killing off shipments.

Is it hard to modify the Wii just to remove the region coding? I don't want to play burned ROMs or do anything other than buy JPN games for my US/CA system.

Incredibly easy.  Just download the files, through them on an SD card and let it do its magic.

It's cool that my girlfriend doesn't care about all my nerdy crap I have (and actually thought it was awesome that I had working NES/Genesis consoles). Then again, I'm a pretty clean person and the game stuff is pretty organized.

Took this pic earlier... this is about... maybe half of what I own. The rest is all older games from N64 and previous. I couldn't fit everything such as accessories and such (Donkey Kong Jungle Beat) so I just took what I had in storage (ie. big cardboard box) and placed it out. I dont actually have my games laid out like this, just the 360 games. Sorry you cant see the names, I'd be glad to make a list for those interested (incl. older games).

Not me. I've posted a number of impressions on this forum regarding ExciteBots. The game doesn't suck, but it doesn't pull me in as much as Trucks did, probably because of the robot shit and crazy stuff that happens during the course of a race. I definitely held certain reservations about it, which is why I didn't get it day 1 like its predecessor. As for HotD, I rented it before, and the game is buggy as all hell. You expect me to buy something like that at full price? F outta here, guy. I'm not a sucker like you.

Scored me a new copy of FE:RD, one of the most hardcore titles for the Wii and one of the best SRPGs on the market. Cost me $50 but that's fine, considering it's quality Nintendo first party.

I think I found a new store to buy games. They had a few copies of this along with a bunch of other discontinued games, brand new. I've looked everywhere for FE Wii, and was on the verge of settling for a used copy, but a true Nintendo fan thinks out of the box and doesn't give up early.

Once I'm through with HotD, I'm going to jump on this bad boy.

I tell you what, though. Being the good sport that I am, I'll accept your counter bitch move under a few conditions:

1.) The games have to be platform exclusive. No multiplatform titles. PC and handheld are cool, but the games can't be found on a competing console.

2.) Retail games only. If it doesn't come in a box, with a manual and CD inside it, and a price tag on the front, it doesn't count.

3.) Only games that were purchased this year, according to the original bet.

Wii vs. XBox 360, let's do this.

Give me a break, guy. The Wii has shit third party games for the most part, and I'm not buying any of them to win an online bet. Third parties give favorable titles to the HD twins, so that leaves me at a disadvantage, as DC would have a variety of different options.
