Sales tactic. Less price, more sales. Deserving for a unique and perfect Gem such as TLR.

Is this a joke? Nintendo is the only reason Sega is still afloat. Look at the sales of those Mario/Sonic olympic threads. That's all Nintendo. Sega's upcoming Mario Kart ripoff will undoubtedly end up in the bargain bin along with Bionic Commando.

This is the shittiest first post, and the best thread, yet. I started off thinking Booger needs to be stopped, but now I want him to redouble his efforts.

Also, good to know that Battalion Wars is third party and Rogue Squadron is not. Thanks for that.

I think this is like those Gross Box Office Receipts Adjusted for Inflation movie ticket comparisons. Since the Wii has low-res SD graphics all games automatically get a point multipler of 1.3 (this constant is derived from the inverse log of the pixel fill diference between 480p and 720p, a.k.a. "reviewer's tilt")

i do not support this methodology as it helps rather than punishes hd game developers that use a smaller-than-native frame buffer

Yeah, dude just avoided the second-party thing after it was questioned. Are we sure this isn't just MAF trolling us all?

Is it possible to create some kind of inverse leper, where the user would be able to make all the threads they want but they can't post outside of them? I'd like that very much.

Seriously, whose alt is this?

The dude has been at it at GAF since 2004 or 2005.  It probably isn't an alt because it would be amazing for a joke-shtick character not to get revealed in 5 years time.

I think this list shows how underrated GC games were. Public Nintendo backlash for shaaaame.  Where's SoA: Legends? Best version of one of the best 3d era RPGs, if not THEE best one.

There's no god damned F Zero either. Capcom, Sega, Namco and EA all profited nicely from me due to the GC.

Glad you brought this up. F-Zero is a first party IP, so that doesn't count. SoA: Legends was not console exclusive in that gen as it wasn't fundamentally different from the original on the same level as RE4Wii was from RE4(GC).

As for BW being on the GC third party list, I accidentally copy/pasted the wrong game, but it doesn't make a difference as the remaining third party exclusives ranked under 80. The outcome wouldn't have changed.

But anyway, I'm tired of my threads getting shitted on by random anti-Nintendo fanboys/bitches, especially considering all the work and research I put into most of these, so I'm going to stop shilling the Wii itself for now since the sales numbers speak for themselves and focus more on Wii software.

Or you could just stop trying so damned hard. You're not exactly the only one here with an agenda and preference, but I can't think of anyone else who is this rigid and forceful, and who regularly lays out their own very narrow plans for the forum.

There's nothing fundamentally different about RE4 on the Wii.  Christ, it's the same game with a different control scheme.  So how do you even explain PC games?  You can use any number of different crazy devices and control schemes for PC games.  Doesn't mean they become different games.

The controls in RE4 Wii were slapped in and it just so happens that a lot of people took to it, for some reason.  They really weren't all that good.

I don't see how you can keep World of Goo on the Wii list, though.  It's a PC game as well.  I suppose it shouldn't be surprising that the best scoring 3rd party Wii title is actually a PC game.  :D

The Gamecube still had a better library overall, though.  It doesn't matter what excuses you attempt to make for the Wii, but the Gamecube was superior.

We need a Sony lunatic as well. Altogether is too calm and objective.

Altogether's not even a big Sony freak. Last gen he preferred Xbox over ps2. He's a fake.

I propose a name change.

Nintendosturd.

Nintendoshooker fits his persona more.

He brings more balance to this board, though. There are way too many Wii haters in here. ( which is understandable)

I like the wii.  I just have fun trolling :shh   of course, I don't fit the "sane" requirement.

Finally, someone who agrees with me on this.  I feel like I'm going crazy when people say it's a great use of Wii controls.  It felt extremely cumbersome to me.  and now that I have a Classic Controller Pro, there's just no competition.

RE4 Wii's controls are definitely superior and more accurate. I actually tried Mercenaries and the shooting galleries in both GC and Wii one after the other to compare, and in the Wii version I consistently got a higher score (easily blowing past the scores I struggled to reach over months of RE4 GC playing) and more headshots despite everything else being the same.

He brings more balance to this board, though.

We don't have a whole lot of platform specific threads in general. The board isn't exactly drowning in "Xbox 360 in 2010: The Beginning" or "Playstation 3 first party catalog: a list" threads, that format seems more at home on GAF.
