I dunno. I think I posted about it in this thread. I didn't really hate it, but I did think it was a little dull. There were also lots of load screens and the controls felt a little tanky, but I think I might be too picky about controls. Anyway, I was having more fun with other sandbox stuff at the time (SR2 and Red Faction) so I kinda just dropped it in favor of those and never got around to trying it again. I'll run through it eventually though, because I do want to try the sequel

Way to go dumbasses. The game has next to no hype now due to the delay and there's only a demo - which really isn't a demo but a new game entirely to bridge DR and DR2 - you have to pay for to access.

Capcom am stupid.

RELEASE A DEMO OF DR2, NOT THIS STUPID DR DLC CRAP, FOR FREE, ON 360, PS3, AND PC.

I have access to 360's whenever I wanna play a 360 so playing it's no issue. But still. This game is fated to die like Crackdown 2.

The guide has a list of achievements you can get from following the walkthrough and I'm pretty sure all of those are on there. Just gotta make sure you follow it completely and you should get them all.

Im gonna go for 5 & 7 day survivors when I have some time off. You can leave the game for 20 minutes at a time, so I can do productive stuff in the meantime, like do some ironing and try to find part time work as Im studying soon

yeah, handhelds sound like a good option to pass the time. After playing Castlevania HD Ive been wanting to play DoS again but been put off by the stupid ass seal drawing gimmick which serves no purpose whatsoever but add artificial difficulty to boss fights.

Even so, this is a game you'll replay over and over again. So you'll eventually be skippin the cutscenes during the next playthroughs, leaving you with unlimited loading screens anyway.

The game is ok. Played for almost two hours straight. There's nothing new here besides the item-mix. You won't like the game if you didn't like the original.
And yes, the loading is annoying and the graphics somehow look worse than the original. Lots of framedrops too.

Grinded my character up to lvl 7 now and restarted the game 5 times. I'm glad the safe house isn't so far away anymore. Makes it easier to escort survivors.
