I wouldn't say that. FFXIII is a damn fine looking game. It runs smoother than Mass 2, has 2x multisampling AA (while Mass 2 has none), and seems to present more complex character models. They have very different art styles, however, so it becomes more difficult to compare.

This isn't even discussing the quality of the games, however, as I suspect Mass Effect 2 will win that battle any day (an amazing game, it was).

Oddly enough, the PS3 one is 1280x720 while the 360 version is 576p. Both feature 2x multisampling AA.

This has happened before with Tomb Raider Underworld (which was 720p on PS3 and 576p on 360), but it's usually the other way around.

Music is good.

Anyway played it a little bit aaand...kinda like it

for now,although i will probably hate it,there is absolutely no feeling of freedom in this game,you do what game wants you to do,you fight when game wants you to fight.
It doesn't feel like an rpg,more like some action adventure...it will be very polarizing game
Combat,basically i just button smash A and heal if necessary,at least for now

Graphics
Prerendered stuff and CG some(most)times looks worse than realtime,closeups look good though...realtime stuff is good,looks clear,good framerate...Xenos is doing a great job at upscaling...if there where no pixel counters nobody would know about lower resolution

Nope,real-time stuff is very clear,playing it on 1440x900 PC LCD monitor,will check later how it looks on hdtv...there are plenty 720p games that are far more blurry than this

Movies,well that is a different story,some look good some are macroblocking fests,but that usually happens when background is black,movie quality varies from scene to scene,close ups always look good...

Luckily movies are corny line fests,i barely watch them if they involve characters and you can skip them

What's with the video during cutscenes. Holy shit.

Square Anus should be ashamed for this port. I'm not going to play this any longer. Waiting for the Ps3 version.
Wow, just wow. I never expected the X360 version to be this bad. The game is all about presentation. You'll be watching 6838 hours of low res cutscenes with mega artifacts when you get the X360 version. Such a shame.

You gotta be kidding. FFXIII has presentation issues in its videos. And the artifacting isn't nearly as noticeable as people make it sound.

Bayonetta had severe presentation issues that messed the gameplay. But yeah sure.

The biggest problem in PS3 Bayonetta is a 30 fps deficit,not the way it looks...disaster for fighting game.
Gameplay in 360 FF13 looks better than lots of PS3 exclusives.
But some of the movies are really bad bad bad(in every possible way).

One thing is interesting about this game,you are always traveling in series of tubes,but the game gives you epic feel...Square is really good at "faking" stuff,just don't stay too long at one place

Anyway,i am probably closing to the end of the disc one,aand
-story is meh,tons of stupid stuff,sometimes i am wtf
-Snow is such a pussy,woman are kicking his ass...

SE is the one who's trolling.
You'll see.

The game still looks good at times. But that's mainly thanks to the great character design. Everything else looks average to good. Video's look awful.
Didn't notice any audio issues.
