Just 10 seconds into the trailer I stopped caring.

Not sure what EA thinks the target audience for this is. People who've just seen Hobbs and Shaw and/or haven't bought enough racing games yet this generation?
The trailer also doesn't show the season passes, micro transactions and randomized loot.
The 5 seconds of what I think was intended to be the gameplay basically shows the same driving mechanics and physics as the last game.

Short little article about Ustwo Games. They made Monument Valley 1 and 2. My avatar is from that game (at least at the time of this post).
Not much to the article. Just explaining how the team deals with having a breakout hit, following it up and existing as a small, but not basement dweller small, company in the mobile space where so much is free to play.

I actually really liked how they went back to the FMV cutscenes in one of the recent games.  You can kinda play these like TXR and just do random races, but I agree there should be some sort of dedicated mode for it.  I really don't give a shit about the story mode in a racing game.

Fast & Furious heavily influenced the series ever since the former came out and I suspect Underground is one of the more famous titles - I don't know what people expect  In the end, I'd buy it if it had good gameplay like from Criterion, but I can't imagine it will.

just spent 4 hours getting my old motherboard and cpu out, and installing ( for the first time ever ) a new mobo and cpu.. well it wouldnt turn on..had some cables mixed up..

Last I heard of Criterion they were making the BFV battle royale so they are still around in some form.

IIRC, there's a studio in Criterion's old offices that EA essentially just gave the name, but has basically nothing to do with any of the Criterion people. Criterion was down to like ten people or something and then EA moved people from other UK closings into it and rebuilt it as a helper studio. It still doesn't have very many people.

I know they were designing the BFV BR but I don't know how much of it they actually developed.

Campaign, Horde mode, and multiplayer look excellent and all modes are firing on all cylinders quality wise
 

Having played the multiplayer beta, Im hyped as fuck. One of the best looking and running games on the Xbone X. Gears 5 as an entire package, and getting that package being a subscriber to a service

And that client is still available even post-exclusive. Wizards know this isn't a popular move, but still do it for whatever reason.

Also funny that Duels of the Planeswalkers is on Steam, but Arena isn't.

wizards always seems to have been so weird about the online/main clients. MTGO was a standalone game client that basically just loaded a website for a long time.
