Link's Awakening was good at the time, but the Zelda GB games are so dated now I can't imagine playing one now and enjoying it. Or maybe I just hate games now. I wish they'd made a Zelda Maker instead, so I can make my own.

When your PS4/XB1/PC game gets outsold by a Switch-only game in the UK, you know it's time to just give up.

The Control team was rather small, 100-ish developers at its peak but about 40 - 50 on average during development.
Plus Remedy is known for great working conditions but relatively pay is in general lower at tech companies in Finland compared to studios in Canada or the US.

I hear the game has already made a profit and Remedy has other teams working on different things as well. For them this was a success so far. Now to see if it has legs.

Control ain't even on Steam. What is the  Epic Games Store exclusivity? A year or something? It'll catch a second wind on PC once it reaches Steam

Yes, EGS exclusive on Control is 12 months. (It also had a Steam page at one point.)

Most of them are that length, I think Borderlands 3 is the only one reported at six months. Also is arguably the biggest non-Ubisoft title. (Which I hesitate to call exclusive since they still require and are available through uPlay. Not to mention stores that sell uPlay keys like Humble, etc.)

Anyone getting Monster Hunter Iceborne this week? I like MH now and beat World's campaign earlier this year so I can jump in, but still playing Fire Emblem and FFXIV and got Astral Chain and don't have any time to sink into Monhun right now.

But I also kinda feel like MH is better when there is a large playerbase in the first few months like an MMO, so on the fence.

Well there's a maker feature in it so that's something they may expand upon in the future.
