Switch owners should be happy they dont have to suffer through Randy's degenerate shitshow

Don't worry, nintendies will get their justice boner when the first Borderlands is ported to Switch full priced, which they'll declare much better than that lame Gamecube with its Metroid Prime, F-Zero and RE4 and constant good new IPs.  :doge

Also reviews are good for BL3? :idont Not that I'd ever touch that shitty meme fest or anything by that goon Pitchford. I remember when he kept petting himself on the shoulder for reviving trash like Duke Nukem and that broken Aliens thing, but then didn't hesitate to blame other developers once the reviews hit :neogaf

the BL3 reviews are all over the place, it's weird which ones are going for hate clicks and which ones are merely sucking up to Randy to get their invite to one of his "parties"

This game cube thing is just trolling. Switch already has more than 2x as many games released for it in 2 years than GameCube had over its whole lifetime.

Eh, to be fair if you're getting paid like $250 to play & review the game, adding another 6 hours means you probably went from making $15/hour to $10/hour on the review.
Also reviewing videogames for money is a terrible time/money ratio.

Sorry, I have zero sympathy for these people.  Talk to someone like my wife who has to regularly pull double shifts as a nurse (or like me back when I worked in a warehouse) compared to some reviewer whining that they have to play some more games because the site they work for is shit.

Nobody is stealing sympathy from your wife or anyone else by acknowledging a waste of time and effort, however easy by comparison. It's not a competition.

I am building my PS3 collection right now. Managed to snag Alice Madness Returns for 10 bucks even though the going rate for it is around 35.
Some more or less mainstream games for PS3 are getting expensive. Demon’s Souls, MGS Legacy Collection and even shovelware like The Simpsons The Game(   :doge ) are getting kinda pricey for PS3 games.

I'm missing a few of the Atelier games and perhaps some other more obscure RPGs for the platform... I never see the Atelier games in stores. What are some of the rarer PS3 RPGs I should get before prices balloon?

Just hit moon #670 in Mario Odyssey after owning it some months, I'm really not sure how anyone can say it's a better game than Sunshine. It has more content sure, but I'd rather take the pacing of any other Mario game over rummaging through the trash for power moons or jumping after a bird for the twentieth time or stacking goombas for the thirtieth time. At least Sunshine had fluddless levels and the sand bird. The amount of low quality derivative content in Odyssey drowns out the few and far between Mario focused platforming sections for endlessly menial busywork.

Somone once said "Mario is such a great controlling character that you could do anything with him and it would be fun", and Mario Odyssey is that theory put to the absolute test, because this game doesn't have you do shit.

Yeah, it got cancelled, but something like 100 copies made it out and never came back. A third of them have popped up on eBay. IIRC, there's only like single digit 360 versions. All the rest are PS3.

It's kinda-all right.  Kinda.  The game looks ugly, but plays well enough.  Has annoying hand-holding but it's putting you on a 'training' stage so fine unless it stays that way.  Your gun can also overheat with extended use, which I don't like at all.  Ruins the flow of the action.  But you can also jump and do a dodge move if you can't shoot or need to avoid stuff.

at this rate by next year all the tariffs with every country might be eliminated or we might be in an autarky implementing the scientific principles of Juche, that'll do far more to computer part prices than anything so far has done, prices don't seem off at all, for example, SSD's right now are more comparable to regular HD's than ever

RAM is always weird because of how it's fabbed but it's never really spiked nuttily outside of epic natural disasters since the second suppliers have exploded

The new one is jank-city, but the preview at the end showing off all the weapon loadout stuff and co-op missions is kinda cool.  It's not at all "Contra" apart from the name, but it could turn out as something OK to pick up on the cheap.  I see they're pricing it at $40 for launch.
