6850 is not adequate to play all the best looking games with high settings at 1920x1200.  The 3 that Rumbler listed probably won't run that well if you tried to play them with high settings.

Here's a couple that should look and perform reasonably well on your rig:

any Codemasters or EA racing games
CIV V
Batman
Fallout 3
Mirror's Edge
Mass Effect
Capcom games
Ass creed 1 & 2

Should give you an idea. If you're happy with 30fps you should be fine. Though you may need to sacrfice AA if you want a smoother experience.

AF doesn't make the textures in the game look better, it simply makes textures that are faraway, or at weird angles, look more like the textures that are right in front of you.

Bulletstorm is fine. Looks like a kick-ass game which is the entire point. If it has a flaw its that its going for "funny" and not really landing it at least based on that demo, but who knows how the full game will turn out. Its supposed to be over the top and stupid. Which is the entire point.

Not to mention based on some other games I could mention that get tossed around here that I find juvenile myself.

It's rollseyes because the story is so peripheral to the experience this game is about that I don't see the point in criticizing it. I believe the writing in this game is so insignificant in scale compared to the gameplay and visuals, that when you call the writing "stupid", it almost seems like you're just fishing for a reason to hate this game. There are a metric fuck-ton of other awesome things going on in this game.

If sub-standard writing is enough to turn you away from Bulletstorm, that's pretty shitty, but hey it's your life.

First of its kind partnership with Microsoft looks to bridge the digital retail divide

Leading UK games retailer GAME has announced a new agreement with Microsoft that will see the retailer selling digital Xbox 360 content in-store, MCV can reveal.

The hope is that millions of customers who don't have access to credit cards or have limited online functionality will now have an avenue to purchase content that until now has been unavailable to them.

Customers will obtain a card on which a DLC code will be printed.

The range will include stand alone Xbox Live arcade titles and additional DLC for retail games. As of yesterday, 40 GAME stores are already offering the range as part of a six month trial with Microsoft.

Further stores and additional content will be added to the trial as it progresses. All content will be classified by PEGI as per normal retile games.

Purchases start at just £2.04 and will be individually priced – not simply just a generic Xbox Live points card. Customers are able to trade-in older titles against the purchase of the DLC and will earn Reward Card points as with any other purchase.

“We know that lots of customers want to play downloadable games and they look to us, as expert retailers, for advice on the best way to do it," commercial and supply chain director Tricia Brennan stated.

"We’ve listened to them and worked with Microsoft to provide the answers. From today it will be much easier to buy downloadable games as they will be able to buy digital games in cash for under a fiver."

Microsoft UK's general manager of retail sales and marketing Neil Thompson added: “We’re excited to offer this program to UK consumers as we see this as an innovative opportunity to work with GAME in delivering Xbox 360 owners yet another highly attractive choice at retail.”

Probably not; this is just some weird interim infrastructure that no-one needs. Buying points at retail works just fine... why would anyone want to lock them to a specific game? Parents buying for kids are the only use-case I can think of, and if they&re hip enough to know about DLC, they'll just buy it for them directly.

maybe,but people are strange
retailers probably get lots of questions like
"how can i get dlc?do you sell it?why not?"
credit card, live points, xbox live,blah,blah..."errrr,i don't trust this internet thingy much, what if they cheat me?"

good thing about this stuff are various retail discounts

Dawn Matthews enters her card details on Xbox 360, kid goes nuts on DLC

Let's get this straight before we even get to the details – this is definitely Microsoft's fault. Not the kid's for spending all the money. Not the mum's for letting her child have access to her bank card. Dispel thoughts of bad parenting. Ignore the incorrect aspect ratio of the Xbox 360 in the picture above.

Close your eyes, breathe deeply and become one with the Mail Online.

The UK's moral bastion The Daily Mail has harrowing news of Brendan Jordan who is the latest victim of money-grabbing Micro$oft following its ploy to rob him and his mother of over £1,000.

£1,082.52, in fact. That's how much young Brendan Jordan spunked on his mum's bank card after she input the details onto his Xbox 360.

"When I put my card details in 18 months ago I thought it was just for his membership to play online with his friends," traumatised and impoverished Dawn Matthews – mother, sales executive and part-time singer – told the paper.

"I work two jobs just to look after my family and pay the bills so I cannot afford all these extortionate charges."

Which is perhaps why she never has time to check her bank statements.

"A thousand pounds isn't that much to people like Bill Gates, but for a single mum it is a lot of money that I don't have," she added, fighting back the tears and trying to cover the mental scars of corporate abuse.

"The bank and Microsoft are blaming each other and no one is helping me. It has taken me ages to permanently get rid of my card details from the website. It was only when I made a complaint that they took all my details off."

Microsoft responded by saying that parental control functions are present on the console to prevent kids doing exactly this. But did Steve Ballmer come round himself and show Dawn how to do it personally?

Did he ****!

"Brendan is 11 and knows his times tables but it was only when I explained to him that he realised how much money he had spent," Dawn added. "When I showed him he burst into tears. He unplugged the Xbox and said he didn't want it anymore.

"I haven't punished him because he feels bad enough and I know he won't do it again. It is ridiculous to allow someone of his age to make payments without any checks being done. When he is in gaming mode he can't be thinking about the money. You can't put all that responsibility on a young boy.

"It is impossible to monitor everything your children do. These companies should take some responsibility. They take advantage of vulnerable people."

That's right. When Brendan is in gaming mode it's utterly unreasonable that he should be expected to think cognitively. That's totally fair. At least selling the Xbox 360 on eBay will go some way to recouping the £1,000.

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/42936/Mother-bemoans-sons-1000-XBL-bill

and this probably got reported everywhere,i already see parents saying "did you see the news, you are not going online with your xbawks anymore"
