Apparently there were AKI devs on the team, so that type of gameplay is present. Someone on the other forum was going nuts over them, after picking them up for the first time to play on Wii.

Day of Reckoning 2 (on the GC) is a pretty good game. I don't think it's as good as Here Comes the Pain, but I'd say it's a pretty close second (for a Yukes game). Wrestle Kingdom on the 360 seems to play like the DoR games as well, but I've only played it for an hour or so, so I might be wrong on that.

No matter where I went he would just kill me. I hid in the burger place, and the motherfucker hovered to the entrance and started firing. I mean this guy was deadly accurate with the machine guns on the helicopter. There was nowhere to hide. I started keeping track of how many times I was killed. By the time he left the game 3 hours later, I had been killed roughly 230 times. I had only killed him 3 times.

So just a heads up, if you ever run into Noodlez18 rollin around in a tireless car. Leave him the fuck alone.

It sounds like someone finally found a use for Free Mode in GTA4.

I've been thinking about going back to that to pick up some multiplayer 'cheevs. Someone, please talk some sense into me. There's nothing to do in GTA4 except story missions, so I guess some designer figured it would be poetic or ironic to have a multiplayer mode where up to 16 people can do NOTHING.

As homo as it sounds, Nintendo is kinda the biggest focus this E3 between the new console and (hopefully) seeing if the 3DS really is a flopzilla with software announcements. After them, it's Sony with the NGP.

Seriously, the only interesting thing out of this e3 so far is that sony successfully price matched the 3ds. Otherwise sony and microsoft are recycling the same respective 5 garbage franchises over and over. I still think psv ain't doing shit outside japan, but a monster hunter portable 4 will cement them as a strong contender in the japanese space, arguably a market leader.

Smash and mario trailers are a given honestly. All they have to do is a cg trailer for smash with new nintendo and square/capcom characters to get people excited- late 2012. Mario 3ds for sure, maybe cafe mario. Skyward sword blowout, kirby gcn FINALLY given a date, more on animal crossing/mariokart 3ds...etc.

What I'm 90 perecent sure of is Pikmin 3 and Rhythm Heaven Wii for 'winter 2011-2012', if only because NSMBW and DKCR had a similar e3 announcement to release date setup. I 90 percent doubt noa will bother with xeno/laststory/pandora after the sin and punisment 2 bomba. Retro won't be ready to show their new game. Metroid will join star fox and fzero in limbo.

You really think Microsoft and Sony have a comparable portfolio to Nintendo and its subsidiaries? Nintendo is guilty of letting go of fun if unpopular franchises like fzero and whatnot. But if sega gets props for...propping up platinum's work, then I could easily point to the multiple projects ranging from Ouendan to Endless Ocean to the Excite series. Outside studios that Nintendo deemed worthy enough to support and supplement their mass market ambitions.

I guess its my low attention span, but the games everyone says should be played are usually bloated narrative pieces with arbitrary mechanics to fake depth. See: bioware, rockstar, etc.

My 5 year old boy has finished Real Heroes: Firefighter all by himself. When he was whining cause he couldn't read everything, I told him that part of the game was figuring things out.

He yelled, "Dad, come here!"

I came in and saw the credits he asked what it was. I told him congratulations and that he finished the game.

He's only had it since I got it for his birthday in April. He doesn't get to play it much either so I'm proud of him.

I was reading the new Famitsu news and saw [PS3]NEW HOT SHOTS GOLF and was like omggggggg, then I read further and saw they are just re-releasing HSG5 with move and 3d support

Was hoping there were going to be two new HSG games. At least the Vita one says it will have all the online play features HSG5 had.

Also I dunno if it's known or not, but the article on the MGS collection confirms online play with voice chat for Peace Walker on both systems. FINALLY GET TO PLAY COOP PEACE WALKER.

Just from the trailer, it looks interesting, but it's not a game I'm going to buy.

+ Great graphics and art
+ Obviously Cave inspired
- Widescreen vertizontal that was obviously made to be played by more than 1 player
- bad DRM (wait, maybe this isn't true. I can't tell if people are complaining about DDL service or DRM in general)
--- No online co-op

It looks like a shooter party game to me. It could be fun if you have a bunch of people to play with locally, but as a single player game I am unconvinced. I'll have to wait and see what people are saying about it before I buy it.

but the sequel is just some really copy-pasted extra level that would count as "that lame expansion pack" if it was a pc game but count as "THE SEQUEL TO THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME!!1!" when it's a nintendo game
