Idolmaster is probably done on the 360 for now, unless it flops like the VNs and shooter that tried to go to the PS3. But I don't think that will happen.

Same here. I am sick of real-life idol groups, don't even need to see them in my games.

I read some JPN blog earlier this week that had a CAVE QUITS SHMUPS FOREVER article that said they were pulling out of the arcade and console market and only going to make smartphone games for the next year at least.

Cave has always had different divisions making cellphone games and other random junk like Princess debut and that SMT MMO. It's just that lately, the core group (Ikeda, Yagawa, Ichimura, etc) has been working on other stuff, like Nin2 Jump and the VN, so it's hard to say what they're up to any more. So hopefully next year they'll start focusing on arcade games more heavily, with a 360 port every now and then.

I wonder if they have anything planned for the end of the year. An HD Mushi pack with version 1.0 and 1.5 would be amazing. Or Ibara + Ibara Kuro. But I'd rather have Mushi.

awesome -- I know its bad form to complain, but the loading times in DR2 360 was a big reason why I couldn't finish it. Nver bought it on PC because they announced OTR, and thought might as well wait for it. Make it all the more awesome.

Darkstalkers seems likes the next logical step for Capcom's fighting game division. After they're done with all of their SF stuff, give it a rest for a while and put out Darkstalkers 3 Online Edition and a new ARC/360/PS3 Darkstalkers game imo.

another announcement others most likely don't care about: that Goldeneye game released for the Wii last year is now getting released on the PS3 and 360 with the subtitle Reloaded. I thought the game was great on the Wii. It's a new engine (still Eurocom making it) and it is a decently large improvement over the Wii game, plus it runs at 60fps (Wii version didn't hold 30). New spec ops style co-op mode and PS3 Move support and all that stuff. I'm assuming it will be $60 and sent to die this fall.
