Over 45 employees were employed at THQ's Digital Warrington studio, according to the company's website. The studio was founded in 2003 as Juice Games and best known for the Juiced series of racing titles before being acquired by THQ in 2006.

The studio's latest release, XBLA's Red Faction: Battlegrounds, received poor reviews and sales of just over 2,000 units in the month following its early April release, according to a Gamasutra analysis.

I didn't like the game because all of the challenges were very dull, and not actually challenging. It's like they made a game about tedious Xbox 360 achievements.

I did like Arino's floating polygonal head though. That was the best part of the game.

No, I stopped playing after a few hours because it was boring as hell. I know you can unlock the full versions of the games after a while, but I still wouldn't want to play them. Why play a cheap clone of Galaga or Dragon Quest when I can play the real Galaga or Dragon Quest? I thought having a bunch of challenges to do would make them interesting, but the game did nothing for me so I dropped it.

So last year High Moon Studios put out a very solid transformers game that was actually really fun. Was really loving towards the universe and lore. And actually had a somewhat unique MP element to it. It wasn't an amazing game or anything but it was a solid good enjoyable game. So what do you do. You make them shit out another one on a compressed schedule to match up with a shitty Michael Bay movie tie-in. It gets shitty reviews. Will sell like shit. And stops the momentum of the franchise from a video game perspective. Good job Activision. $:-\$

Well in that sense it probably is as its going to cost anywhere from 1 to 3 dollars as an indie game.

2d shooters aren't a new concept but I always root for indie devs and it looks kinda cool. Hopefully it turns out decent.
