Yeah I got your friend request Stoney. The reason people are playing in Driving School at levels above 10 is because after you hit level 11 while you're doing that playlist, you don't get kicked out. So basically if you just play non-stop in that playlist and never quit after you level above 10, you can stay in there.

I finished all the one-on-one challenges in career mode and I'm focusing on multiplayer now. So fun!

Pretty much how I felt about the beta. Almost as bad as mario kart.

It's definitely Mario Kart inspired so there is a degree of Luck inherent to how to play in any race but that is kinda the point. If people didn't want that they would play something like Forza which is entirely dependent on racer skill. There is even a hardcore playlist where power-ups are disabled if that is your thing.

As far as the issues Tycho is having of the game crashing or disconnecting, I can't say I've experienced much of that at all. Not saying it doesn't exist. Just saying it hasn't happened to me. The Beta had a lot of weird shit going on with the online stuff but almost none of that stuff has happened to me yet in the full retail game. My experience has been on par with most online games.

It's funny how Tycho loved the game at first, then flip-flopped harder than a politician a few days later. None of the other reviews I read have any major complaints about multiplayer.

What?  Game never dips below 60 on my rig with max settings and 32X AA.  I'd take some pics later.  In terms of gameplay, it was fun but not spectacular on the first couple of tracks and the default difficulty seemed a little too high.  I had to restart a couple of times and I've never had to do that with an arcade racer that early in the game.

I did Motor Mash for the first time in a while last night and got 16,000+ fans in one event. Doing the weapon challenges are so easy in that mode.

tried to say goodbye, but my mic has been cutting out lately (it was really bad the other night in rdr), think the headset connection on my controller is shot

dunno what happened between the beta and now (probably just that everyone else was new at it back then, too), but i suck at the game and wasn't having much fun

i don't like how it's almost impossible to gain back any ground once you get knocked to last place, i'd be in 3rd-4th place sometimes for a lap and then end up finishing the race 10 seconds behind once i got blasted back to last place

been thinking a lot lately about just not buying any more multiplayer games, i'm obviously never going to invest the time into getting any good at them so it's always going to be a bit of a miserable experience after that initial week when everyone's new at it

I sucked at first too and in most races I'm not that great at them. But it really helps to have more cars. You gotta unlock the better cars cause it doesn't help when you facing 30somethings when your only level 4. I hear you though, same thing happened with me and BFBC2 as well as red dead online. Sometimes it's just too much to invest in getting better at a game. My girlfriend get's down a lot of the time as well with this game as well as others for the same reasons. It's a lot of luck sometimes in Blur and it's not fun to constantly be in last place when you were doing so well before. My advice is to not give up and if worse comes to worse get your bore bros together and we can even up the odds!

I had a great time though it was fun to talk the shit with ya and play online for once with you dudes.

Go back in there and get them to do it by making up something about another person getting it. They don't have any damn policy's listed about not taking manufactures coupons. Tell them that you saw someone else get the game and they used the coupons but had to press F7 to manually enter the coupon. Once you've done this and they take care of you go over to the Customer Service area and tell them the employee didn't know how to enter in the rewards coupon. They'll just give you the money back in most cases.

I can't stress this enough but stick it to them fucks at bestbuy! Look for employees that just don't seem to give a shit too, that always helps. And worse comes to worse just come back later you might get a better cashier later in the day.

As well Bestbuy's double dip policy on coupon's is not listed and is bullshit created my management to scare off customers from using coupon's. Your allowed to use one bestbuy coupon with a manufactures coupon at all stores.

Good luck and get the better version so we can get some damn team games going.
