What's the series in the middle with the three underage moe girls with huge cleavages?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sora_no_Otoshimono

Of all the things that they could give a sequel to, it's that.  :yuck

It must have been the flying pantsu episode that did it.

rumbler, how come you have the time to watch all this mediocre or SHIT anime but not enough time to watch or read a legitimately long series?

Didn't he say that he doesn't care for long series?

Now me, I've got all of Darker Than Black almost ready to watch.  Maybe one day I'll be able to tear myself away from video games to see it!

Oh, and would I want to watch the OVAs after season one?  Wikipedia says they take place between the two seasons...

i see they are also doing an anime of this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kami_nomi_zo_Shiru_Sekai

Quote
Keima Katsuragi, a second-year high school student, is an avid galge gamer. He is known on the Internet as "The Capturing God" for his legendary skills to be able to "capture" any 2D girl in games. However, in his actual school life, Keima is known as otamegane (オタメガネ), a derogatory portmanteau of the two words otaku (オタク) and megane (メガネ-"glasses").

At the start of the series, Keima receives an e-mail offering him a contract to "capture" girls. He accepts what is thought to be a challenge, and a demon from Hell nicknamed Elsee appears. She asks for his cooperation to help her in catching the runaway spirits. These spirits hide themselves inside the girls' heart, and Elsee suggests that the only method to force the spirits out is by "capturing" their hearts—making them fall in love. Appalled by the idea, Keima refuses after clarifying to Elsee that he is only interested in "capturing" 2D girls and that he detests reality. Nevertheless, with the contract already accepted, Keima would have to help Elsee no matter what; if they fail, both Elsee and Keima would lose their heads.

yea i know from the description it sounds awfull but i still read it quite a bit... maybe it's all because is all quite silly, some of the jokes comes are about the main character extremely exagerate obsessions with galge games

the girls he encounters are all uber cliche so he's like "based by this cliche i should act this way!" it's like the dumbass version of death note

there is an overarching plot but it barely bares his head once in a while, most of the time there are mini-arc based on "the girl of the week" which are auto-conclusive,i think the most silly one is when he and a girl switches bodies SO HE MUST RESIST THE ALLURE OF GUYS GAME

you know how everybody on gaf is like "LOL ICECREAM THREAD" everytime there is a thread about these kind of games, this manga is basicaly "the adventure of icecream and his wacky sidekick"

I'll watch this because it looks like Gainax cutting loose and going insane again, which usually gets good results.

Also, I watched Arakawa season 1. It was pretty good, but really uneven. The episodes centered around Kou and Nino were really good, but the episodes where they focused more on the other characters and jokes were more of a mixed bag. Also, I could do without more Maria and Stella, rather than funny those two were just annoying.

Have you seen Air?  Angel Beats is happy yet sad moe like that.  It even has the same KEY light comedy to mix up the drama as well.

Although I don't actually consider KEY shows to be moe.  I don't really think of any of the girls are cute, I just feel bad for them.  KEY shows are like the definition of white knight syndrome.  Handful of sad girls with sad stories and the MC has to help them even if they still die anyway but at least they're happy for a bit before they die.

My problem with Angel Beats is that they went for this way-too-cutesy art style that clashes with the subject matter.  It screams "MOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE UGUUU~" but it's really not from what I have seen.

Apparently it's about a kid who finds out that his younger sister is an otaku, but not just any ordinary otaku she's actually a big fan of loli bishouojo games [the ones with little girls]. In other words, his sister is a closest lesbian pedophile.

It's funny!

No, it's the SF4 OVA.  Don't download it.  It's so fucking boring...don't let that LOLzy gif fool you.

The SSF4 OVA is better, although still dumb.  It's pretty much just Guile and Chun-Li versus Juri.

Railgun had a lot of potential, but the preponderance of yawn-inducing slice-of-life episodes, several pointless and/or uninteresting characters, plot threads that took the easy way out, and a finale that's cliche and worthy of many head-shakes ultimately capsize the production.

Oh, so I finished watching Angel Beats!

I thought it was a good show, but it really didn't need non-stop plot twists every ep.  I don't even get the reasoning behind it.  The core story of a bunch of dead highschool kids in limbo because they died after having shitty unfulfilled lives who can't move on to the next step because they hold a grudge against god for giving that life...is really good!  And that's why despite all the shows problems I still think it's a great show because the core plotting is just rock solid for a heavy emotional drama.  But then they add all the stuff like tenshi, multiple tenshi, shadows, programmers, etc, etc... every ep and it's like DUDE NO MORE TWISTS PLEASE.  And the final twist about the tenshi's background was really bad and why the show needed to stop having twists.

But the core plot was great.  The directing was very nice and emotionally strong and the acting performances were well done.  So I really enjoyed the show overall.  KEY sad dramas >>>>> all these moe sad dramas.

Yeah, the writing doesn't have the level of skill that Yoshitoshi ABe brought to Haibane Renmei, but I still found it to be a much better series than most others from the past few years.
