And For A Few Dollars More is even better. Really, Leone improves by leaps and bounds in each one.

AFAD: 8/10
FAFDM: 8.5/10
TGTBATU: 10/10

They should have it, I mean, its fucking THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY.

Once Upon a Time in the West is more entertaining than all three, in my book, and bested only by The Good, The Bad and The Ugly in terms of filmmaking.

I hope they have it, or you might walk out with Season 1 of Ducktales.

I have a funny relationship with In The West. I think its Leone's best film, in terms of his craft. Yet I like all 3 of the Dollars films more. I attribute it solely to casting. Bronson, Fonda, and Robards dont hold a candle to Eastwood, Wallach, and my boy "Hawk Eyes" Van Cleef in the western genre.

Also Himuro, when you start the movie and think "damn, Ive heard this music a billion times!", remember that this is the film it was written for.

I think Fonda is so awesome in that movie, though.

Harmonica is like a blueprint for the revenge-seeking, mysterious stranger archtype too.

I also think its Morricone's WORST Leone score. I mean, whats there is excellent, but there only seems to be 2 tracks, Cheyenne's theme and Harmonica's theme.

All you need is Harmonica's theme.

It gets repetitive after a while. Or course, I shouldnt REALLY say that, since the theme from TGTBATU gets played about 500 times in that film.

Don't get Citizen Kane. It's a landmark film in terms of technical filmmaking, and its astoundingly ahead of its time in that regard. As entertainment though, its possibly the most disappointing of all the classics Ive seen.

Honestly, whenever some stuffy blowhard critic hails Kane as the greatest film ever made, I can't help but take their opinions on films with a grain of salt. :lol
