I dunno if anyone is a really bad drunk here, but holy shit am I. It's the one thing I wish I'd been born differently as, I dunno if it's nature or nurture which determines how you are when you are blackout drunk, but ever since high school I'd hear stories of the most fucked up shit in the world I've said while drunk. At my college graduation when I was 21 my friend said he could blackmail me for life on what I said.

Just found out tonight that the last time this happened, many, many months ago I said some stuff so bad everyone involved hid it from me because they didn't want to hurt me, but it sort of acted as behind the scenes drama against me. Now that I found out, it actually explains a few things.

The worst part of being a bad talker blackout drunk is that you have no idea/memory of anything you said, so unless people tell you...you never know.

I wish I just was one of those drunks that passed out and slept. Instead I spout of nonsense that can be pretty bad if it's about the people around me.

You may want to think about not drinking so much that it leads to that. Or stopping. Some of my friends have stopped because of those types of incidents.

Depends on what was said. I remember some of Bebpuu's friends getting worked up over the most innocuous shit in previous stories he's told us.

Back in our partying days, we'd say some rank shit to each other but it was all forgiven and forgotten the next day.

I knew a guy in school who would say the most rank shit to women when he was drunk. I think it was supposed to be flirting, but it pretty much just struck him off the list as far as I know.

I just get sociable and silly, thankfully. Only had one bad case of memory loss, but it was enough to put me off getting falling down drunk forerver. The complete loss of control is not worth whatever funny story make come out of it.

Well yeah, I'm 30 and responsible so I know not to get drunk and my drinking limits.

The occasional time it happens (like 3 times in a decade) are special circumstances. The latest being a chemical reaction to meds I was on which changed my tolerance levels completely. Did not expect 1 vodka tonic = blackout for 8 hours. Was just a shitty situation all around that 4 months later is still coming back to haunt me.

Just sucks that once and a while when bad stuff like that happens that I don't just throw up and pass out somewhere but instead talk shit for hours and depending on the situation, it can lead to major issues after. It's scary being that kind of drunk and having to be extremely careful about drinking because of your drunken personality.

Is there a way to self-diagnose whether you've broken or fractured a bone? Took a fall in a 5k obstacle course today and landed bad on one leg then jogged/ran/walked 3 miles+ on it despite it being kind of painful. Been getting more and more swollen since and can't really walk on it.

I've never broken or fractured anything before so not sure what it feels like. I'd imagine if I did either of those I'd know it because I'd imagine it would be horrible constant pain. So I'm thinking it's just sprained or something...probably, right?

You can break or fracture bones without being in horrible pain. It depends if the broken parts are pointing towards anything sensitive or not. If you're worried, book an appointment with a doctor.
