I may be moving to the San Francisco Bay Area. Right now it's up in the air, but SF Bay Area is far more lucrative market for me getting a job due to the sheer amount of agencies there in comparison to Houston. I have a ridiculous amount of family in that area who can help me set up. Right now it's in the air, and I'm still looking for a job in the mean time but I'm targeting that area. Houston just doens't cut it if you're looking for jobs in the creative field, imo.

Our dog had that, wait it out for a full day, then take her to the vet. She'll probably get something to stop the vomitting. Be on the lookout for dehydration, feel her skin.

Did you start giving her rice instead of her food? Nothing stops them up like rice.

I don't know if you guys remember, but our dogs used to be like that regularly and the vets couldn't figure out what it was. Changed their food to expensive "organic" shit, they'd be fine for a week, then they exploded. Changed them to crappy Iam's for sensitive stomachs and it immediately went away.

So... What kind of food are you feeding her?

Pedigree plus we have been giving her a bit og kibble and bits ever since that weeken a few weeks ago where she didn't eat anything.

dehydration is my big concern because her diarhia is basiclly brown water right now. There isn't a solid in it. I'm hand feeding her water but she doesn't want to drink on her own. She also wants to stay outside, I'm guessing so she doesn't poop inside, but it's about to get really really hot. She's been outside since 3am and I've been waking up once an hour to check on her.

I've been to SF many times. Young people there are liberal as hell. I can ask a few of my friends where they go to hang out; maybe that can point you in the right direction.

I'm agnostic atheist. I don't think religion is really necessary to live a nice life, that the universe is chaotic and doesn't bend to human will and I'd like my future children the opportunity to choose their faith rather than be forced into it. I'm pretty open-minded though, so if I met the most awesome gal and she happened to be Christian I'd still go for it.

Agreed. I'm an atheist but I find militant atheists to be as insufferable as militant Christians. I have my beliefs and that is that. I don't really care to evangelize, hell, I don't even care if someone puts a cross on government property. Religion just means very little to me and I think the sooner that people just drop their religious beliefs, the better we'll all be.

I was wondering if anyone here has ever gone to an AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) meeting? I'm struggling to deal with alcohol at the moment and I really need help. My hangovers are getting worse and often when I am hungover I wish I was dead/ feel like killing myself is the only way out. I dont know what to do

My drinking is ruining my social life and I'm scared I'm going to lose my friends.

And I know I've posted similar shit on Bore several times and I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record. Thing is I'm always failing to sort out my problems.

No experience with AA. It seems like something a community center in your area might have info on? If you have a doctor, you can talk to the doctor about it and they will direct you to treatment programs. I would call your doc or a health center.

Yeah they claim to be non-religious, but they apparently push the central importance of a "higher power" which the way they do it kind of creeped him out. though he didn't really succeed without AA, so maybe you should disregard his opinion here

AA didn't work for my dad because of the religious issues. There are other groups that you can go through though (although those didn't work for my dad either). Best of luck, man.
